Well, blame it on the fangirling in me 😜 but there can't be another GSMI. 🤭

I'm not saying it was some groundbreaking show. And there have been and will be better shows. But like I said, there won't be any other GSMI. 💙

As for the remake, SP has taken some wonderful regional shows and then made their complete mockery by producing the most toxic shows.

Ghum itself is the greatest example.

When they could make a trash out of a complex story like Kusum Dola, I can only pray for the well being of the fans who are gonna watch the remake of Jol Nupur because the original itself was one of the most negative shows I have ever seen in any language.

Why would anyone want to see the same story all over again with new faces?🤔 They could just save time and rerun GSMI on SP. It might do well in prime slot. Imlie ko band karo

I bet with proper promotion and a more suitable time slot GSMI would definitely fetch more TRP than it did in SB.

However, appointing popular actors and thriving in negativity has mostly worked for SP. Ab Imlie ki original leads (Adi and Imlie) ko hi dekh lo. Draw a comparison between them and Neel and Kaju and then look at the response both the shows got.

No wonder they are again using the same strategy. 🙄

Honestly? Yes.

SP has already made two shows based on Ishti Kutum - Mohi and Imlie. Imlie being far more toxic than Mohi.

Considering Jol Nupur itself was so negative, I don't have much hope for a positive show, that too from SP. 😔

But still, at least Imlie was made recently while Mohi was an old show. There was around a 10 year gap. GSMI to abhi abhi finish hua hai. They should wait a few years at least for another remake.😆 Or they could just make a sequel instead

Hmm, you've got a point. 🤔

But then again, hardly anybody noticed GSMI. So I think they are safe in that regard. Besides, abhi log bas naam ke sequel banate hain. Ultimately woh OG ka hi cheap and idiotic version dikhate rehte hain.

With Pankhuri being pregnant and Ishhan being the lead of another show, they can't come up with a second season.

And as I said, whether a sequel with a different cast or another remake - it'll be pretty much the same. 🙄

The optimist in me definitely wants a positive and better show. However, the realist in me isn't too hopeful. 😞

No I mean a sequel as in a new story or generation leap or reincarnation or whatever.😆 There's so many options!

I just hope they change the story though from the OG and GSMI, I mean concept can be the same but they can have different tracks so it doesn't look too repetitive. I think Pandya Store also had another version on SB which didn't last long.🤔
