Excellent excellent analysis.

Murtasim also understands her fear of abandonment.

The biggest problem is as you said the fear or lack of communication.

My preliminary thoughts on Episode 46

When two very volatile people fall in love it is very important they are on the same page emotionally or the other person has to be wise enough to back off, but if they don't and become unstable during an argument they will be self destructive.

Meerab and Murtasim never had an actual blow out fight, they have never properly resolved any previous conflicts, either Murtasim walks off or Meerab walks off or there is a car accident or they are interrupted. What happened in this episode was months of pent up frustrations, unresolved fights, things left unsaid between them, BeHaya was the match that lit the fuse.

Murtasim love for her is patient, any obstacles that came his way his reaction is dejection, sulk, ignore and wait. Meerab love for him is demanding and aggressive, she will have him when she wants him and if any obstacle gets in her way she will not only destroy it she will ravage him as well. We only have seen Murtasim's love for Meerab, not what Meerab's love for Murtasim is capable of, she is dangerous when in love.

They don't doubt each other, they are using third parties as leverage to provoke one another to get a reaction because they are fearful and they don't know how to deal with that in a healthy way. While they bring out the best in each other, we see now what monsters they can become because of each other.

Does Meeru really think Murtu has a thing for BeHaya NOPE

Does Murtu really think Meeru has a thing for SN NOPE

So why are they doing this to each other. Because discussing real problems are frightening it is easier to blame a soft target an outsider. They don't dare speak the truth because they are afraid to face it.

Meeru is upset Murtu told her to go home, she knows she is wrong but she expects him to forgive her easily like he always does. She doesn't want to face the fact that her betrayal was so huge that he will never exonerate her fully or love her like he used to. She is an ego centric character and she feels diminished in his eyes so she rather blame him and behaya than examine her own behaviour.

Murtu is upset Meeru never prioritizes their marriage, so it is easier to blame her friends and pretend like she purposefully does mistake after mistake to escape him. He deep down knows that is not true, but he is afraid to face the fact that she doesn't love him as much as he loves her and her causes are more important to her than his happiness.

They are both wrong, she loves him more and he will forgive her anything, but they don't want to talk about that, they would rather character assassinate each other over something they don't even believe in because that is easy to do.

They both are active volcanoes eruptions are expected. But if they don't deal with the actual problem these eruptions will continue to happen.

ROHAIL HAYA PROBLEM

This is my POV on this problem that has caused such disturbance in the force. Meerab and Murtasim accusing each other of Rohail Haya is not for cheating, but indulgence. Meerab and Murtasim are territorial lovers and are very possessive of each other, Meerab more than Murtasim.

What is going on between Haya and Murtasim, their relationship seems to have gone through several changes. When his father was alive Murtasim had dreams of his own career, he was a happier person who hung out with his sisters, he seems to have been a doting attentive brother towards the girls they were friends. But after his father’s death, he went through a short grieving phase, but he quickly ascended his position as head of the family and he cut everyone off including the girls. His relationship with Haya changed after this he became cold and ruthless with her, but Haya stuck on to him like a wart. After Murtasim married Meerab joy came back to his life, he was deeply in love with Meerab, he started to change back to his old ways of being a gentler soul and this impacted his relationship with Haya. He treated her like he used to as a friend, a misbehaving annoying younger sister that was his responsibility and burden to take care of. He couldn’t find it in himself to be cruel towards someone who was in a similar situation like him. Even though he knew Meerab loved him she still held him at arm’s length and kept punishing him, and he related his pain with haya’s hurt on how cruel it is to love someone and yet be unable to be with them. He doesn't have any genuine affections for Haya like he does for Marayam, at best he pities her and worst 'zeher lagti ho'.

Comparing how Murtasim dealt with Haya in episode 46 versus episode 25, is different. Haya is the same, but Murtasim has changed, this is because he hasn’t emotionally recovered from Maryam’s betrayal so he is not responding to anything like he used to. Murtasim’s reaction to defend himself in episode 46 lacked the desperation of episode 25, in episode 46 he is exasperated and tired, he failed to comfort Meerab like he normally would have. The fear and desperation that he will lose Meerab that existed previously was no longer there. Haya might have initiated the fight, but the fight didn’t continue because of her, the ill-timed sex didn’t happen because of her, MeMu were in hell of their own making because of the already existing problems between them.

After Meerab goes missing why doesn’t he scream at Haya for causing the misunderstanding, because Haya is not the reason for what happened. Murtasim is to blame Meerab is to blame, blaming Haya would be taking the cowardly way out. Haya doesn’t have any power over Murtasim, it is the audience and Haya herself who thinks she is that important in their lives but for Meerab and Murtasim she is insignificant. They use Haya and Rohail to provoke each other, it sends out this false narrative that they give outsiders such importance, truth is RH are mere scapegoats for them to stop confronting the real problem.

Meerab knows Rohail loves her, but she can’t open her mouth to say, ‘No I don’t love you’. She indulges Rohail’s love confessions because he loves the OG meerab and she is using that as a crutch as she struggles to hold on to her past self. She cut off Rohail once, but he keeps re-emerging in her life like how the betrayal of the past keeps rearing its ugly head, handicapping Meerab from moving on in her life. Rohail reminds her of who she used to be, and she hangs on to Rohail’s false image of her as she reconciles her past with the present. She is trying to find herself, but a critical piece is missing, perhaps in all the wrong places is where the answer lies. Murtasim knows her best and he has done all he can for her, the rest is up to her only she can complete this picture.

Why does Murtasim look for Meerab in Rohail’s place first, simple he probably assumed Rohail called up Meerab and told her about the royal thrashing her husband gave him, and Meerab went to visit her friend. If he thought his wife the love his life ran off with another man, he wouldn’t have been so casually standing with no anger by the side of the car as if she was going to pop out from under the ground. Khan Murtasim Khan holds his Meerab in very high esteem, he would never think she is the type of woman to run off with another man after sex with her husband. Accusing him of something so vile is an insult to Meerab, you diminish her integrity, they are one and the same, tarnish one you smear the other. Murtasim is checking out her friends’ places while MB/Anwar are checking out Waqas place, they are doing divide and search.

TB is fantasy romance, logic in timelines and continuity must be suspended, what matters is the emotions of MeMu that is where the nuance lies, that is the soul of the show. Meerab and Murtasim have problems in their marriage of their own making, but what problem they don’t have is infidelity. Giving a third party any credit for the problems in their marriage makes them seem like an average couple, their problems and love are on another level. Haya and Rohail are just knives in the story pushing the plot forward but have no value to MeMu.

Facepalm for people who think Murtasim considers Haya insignificant after she tried to take Meerab's life and if he actually takes Haya as someone insignificant even after that incident then he is a bigger idiot then I actually thought him to be. 👎🏼

Contract has not been breached they only had sex, Contract and sex are not the same thing

The contract is a piece of paper for the audience to understand, but it is more than a paper, it is a promise made between a man and a woman. Meerab originated this contract, but the burden to fulfill this bond lies on both their shoulders, it is Meerab and Murtasim vow to each other. What does the contract mean to Meerab and Murtasim, in simple terms it is acceptance. For Murtasim the contract will be breached when Meerab tells him she loves him and accepts the marriage as their destiny. For Meerab the contract means many things she needs to let go of her past grudges, forgive Murtasim, accept that loving him isn’t wrong Murtasim is fortune’s gift not her misfortune, she is not accepting injustice and she is not betraying herself by embracing happiness. This contract must break before they indulge in marital happiness. But when they had sex neither of them got what they wanted, they did not forgive each other for the past, he didn’t get her confession and she accepted nothing, they crossed a red line without breaking the contract first.

Who came on to whom, how they felt during the act is irrelevant, the point is once the deed was done, they both regretted it. Meerab and Murtasim did not have make love as husband and wife, two frustrated souls gave into their desires and used sex to block the pain, call it whatever you want angry regret unemotional sex doesn’t matter, ultimately sex fixed nothing. All they felt after the act was shame, regret, disappointment, anger, self-loathing. They both let each other down, she didn’t become the wife he deserved, and he couldn’t protect her from herself.

Contract breech is yet to happen! When Meerub accepts her love for him, the contract will have no meaning and she will tear it.

Bold - exactly...that is what actually has happened .the reason we saw a Murtasim who s reactions are different than the Murtasim we saw in initial episodes.

Underlined- 100 percent agree....that is the truth👍
