I'm ALL IN for Dance thread but I got a request-

No 3984 threads for multiple dance forms and categories. I mean we can do an Indian thread and a western thread because if we go category wise we will have million threads, folk-state-tribe-classical etc.

Same goes for western.

Baki I'm all in for dance thread got too much to discuss anyway! 😳

PS : If we have a dance thread can we allow IG posts there because there are SO MANY underrated and underappreciated artists there who need recognition and appreciation. I'd love to share all my finds from there with enthusiasts here. There will be a LOT of YT links too ofc but IG is my home for underrated artists. 😳🤗

Instagram posts require permission, so it's advised to stay away from them. You may share YouTube URLs, yes.

If you have permission from the person who uploaded the content on Instagram, you might be allowed to utilize it.

I'll seek clarity from senior Mods on this issue and post it here. 😊

So the IG posts are all on public accounts making their content accessible to anyone and everyone...I know it is a very unusual thing to ask for but trust me when I say this IG content is much more...RAW. Youtube is refined and only a select kind of performances make it there but IG has all sorts of improvs and content that never makes to YT.

It would be a huge thing if Mods agree to this because then I'll go ballistic lmao 😆

I have a LOT of YT content as well but with IG Imma be all over it 😆

You can open just one dance thread to start with that will include all forms/ genres because it may be more difficult to classify dance performances as purely belonging to one genre. More often than not, they overlap.

About IG posts - they can be shared as long as it's only the performance.

There cannot be any promotional content or controversial fan opinions etc. It should be only for the purpose of watching and appreciating the artist in question.

It doesn't have to be anything elaborate- the introductory write-up. Just state what the thread will be about and what kinds of posts are allowed. That's it.
