Exactly a mature story, but decent story. Deal with some good social issues. Overall a good serial. If i am not wrong male and female lead did not get marry but remained good friends.

She had issues and i guess before dying she genuinely wanted to let things go and be friends with Mahira again. I don't remember that drama much so i might be wrong.

So umera deals more with the complexities of female characters rather than simply making them angels or demons. Whether it's positive or negative the characters have layers.

I wanted to know are movies more popular in Pakistan or dramas ? I was told that the film industry in Pakistan is not as famous as dramas are…it’s the ulta of India where bolloywood is more popular and looked up upon than tellywood . Is that so ? I mean is it more prestigious to work in dramas than movies ?

Yes it is somewhat like this. Also mostly tv stars do films so its not that prestigious .

People from dramas go for movies. Some stick to only movies like fawad khan.

But mostly all actors and actresses do dramas and movies both .
