I have finally decided to post this...

I think makers are going on the right track by glorifying Nav. Yep.. Although I don't see it as glorifying. But I am borrowing the word from the toxic Abhira Fandom.

Agree or not... Nav's love for Abhir is not given equal treatment as compared to Abhira's Love for their child. By the toxic fans.. The fans get triggered when they hear 'Mera Beta' from Nav's mouth, Who still believes in regressive thoughts like blood is thicker than water. Who does not want to see Nav as a person but as a tool to connect the great Abhira? He is already called Bachcha chor, bhade ka baap, etc...

They would celebrate when Abhir kicks Nav out of his life.

No one doubts Ak love and sacrifices for Abhir. Many do not have an ounce on the love Abhi has for Junior.. khoon ka rishta.. all that thing..

But with Nav, If he shows any sort of right on him as a father, toxic fandom erupts with rage. They do not even see him as a father, They just see him as an 'aaya' type of person.

If he says he loves the child.. then they have a problem.

If he threatens a doctor who is negligent(along with ak), Then they have a problem

If he feels something is off about his son before ak, then they have a problem(Although that problem does not appear when randomly Abhi gets a stomach ache for Abhir's heart surgery. Why didn't Ak also get stomach pain? Wasn't she the mother.. seriously they are showing that she is just a vessel for childbirth as the soul connection was there for only AbhiM)

When He is crying after hearing about his son's deadly ailment, they have a problem.

If he is grateful to AbhiM for doing the surgery, then they have a problem

If he is a little stern about AbhiM's lack of time management as a concerned parent, then they have a problem.

If Abhir says his father 'Nav' taught him some good things... then they have a problem.

If he compared it to 'Nadababa', then they have a problem.

Basically, they would have preferred if Nav did not have any deep connection with Abhir or if Abhir forgot about him after meeting AbhiM. They cannot see a father-son bond between Abhinav and Abhir... Because that is only for AbhiM.

There are already clips and scene analyses to show how Abhir is like his 'real' father and mother. Abhir is mini AbhiM.

When the truth will be revealed again.. I am sure few people will go on and on about how Nav cannot love Abhir like a real father. How the real father can only love the child like Abhi.. This will be brought up again and again..I can already see Surekha/Mahima/or even Manjiri going Khoon Khoon hota hai paani nahi

After the truth reveals, Only Nav's love will be questioned more and more as Ak is the real mother and Abhi is a real father. Their love will never be questioned.. Nav has to prove that he loves the child just because he is not related by blood.

The narrative never was degrading Ak's role as a mother. It is just when Nav is shown as a parent, then the pseudo-feminist posts appear telling everyone that Maa ka haq cheen gaya.. women are not just baby-making machines... comments like, "Nav tells the story about his lactation troubles next." All because He is shown as a father.

Ak is shown as a nice mother, who raised her son with proper values. She was the one who taught him to fight against bullies, she was the one who taught him the values of family. She is shown as a concerned mother. She checked all the arrangements and it was clear that Abhir's health will not deteriorate further if he went to the US, Then everyone would have pointed that.. But every doctor in Birla's house was OH.. so According to ITV, it might have worked going to the US. (Not commenting on the realistic aspect of it as I am not a doctor and these series have no connection with realistic surgery)

Here also, Many times it is Ak who decides about Abhir,. She insisted on different surgen, going to the US, etc. The only time Nav had a firm stand was when he wanted to take Abhir to AbhM. And nope, She is not shown as a mother at all. She was also there when they consoled Abhir about his ailment, But nope, ak is not shown as a mother at all.She decided to stay back at the camp for Abhirs happiness.. but nope she is not a mother at all.

The times when her motherhood is questioned when she hurts precious Abhimanyu. The sad tortured soul will find other ways to self-pity with or without Ak's help...thank you.

They see that AbhiM lost 6 precious years of his son growing up but also does not acknowledge that someone else who saw the precious years will have a deep connection with the child.

I hope there is more and more Nav glorification as writers assert their story onto the Toxic fandom, making puke-worthy comments on Abhinav's parenthood.

Abhimanyu ne use sirf apne dard ke liye use kiya hai... As a replacement of therapy...

Yeah basically I think someone commented even if Nav breathes there will be problem. And I do not understand where the glorification is coming from. Akshara has problems with Abhimanyu and obviously if he is looking for memories she is not going to give him.

Abhimanyu asking Abhinav and he sharing like a acha aadmi makes him glorification. Why everything has to be about Abhira. Not all are watching for them. There is a reason I do not go to daily episode discussion thread and I advise you for your mental peace also don't read comments there as they are really pukeworthy. I did that mistake last week and the result was worst.

Yashomati Maya loved Kanha purely without any strings attached and I saw the same love in Abhir and Abhinavs relationship which is rare to find on ITV. So just keep that positive thoughts and do not let negativity affect us.

People don’t have to like abhinav, if they have a problem with abhira not getting reunited, or have a proble showing abhi’M they can rant away with that:

why to drag and mock a decent guy in the show; to make abhiM look better ( which he doesn’t even if they say hav is glorified ) . Aarohi also I get it cos she has done questionable things in the past. Nav didn’t do anything bad. Don’t have to appreciate but don’t have ti pass gross comments either.

I understand. It's time we all need separate discussion thread. There is another one in top of this forum. Try joining that. We can post our updates there. I see couple of folks use that and it's non toxic.

I just checked that thread after reading your comment... I didn't know it existed at all 😆

It is comparatively better... Though still biased...

No toxic comments as far as I saw...

I wish we had non toxic and unbiased episode discussion thread...

Till that time... I'll do with this thread...

Thanks for telling me this!!!

I support your each and every word...

That Episode Discussion thread is super toxic and comments are really immature and nonsensical

You said everything. Shippers thought Nav is glorified at the cost of lead. If Abhimanyu can say for Ruhi as she is his poora dil then why Nav get trolled for calling Abhir as mera beta. Jubki he is the only one who is not getting insecure like Aarohi.
