And I think its totally valid for Teji to be concerned because she would definitely want her son to experience every bit of happiness in a relationship. But with Katha and Aarav, there will be some extra t&cs here and there. So Teji being concerned, like you mentioned, is justified
However, what I think is pissing people off more is the way she is dealing with that. And her body language is making her look like a childish villain at times And some of her old dialogues made it seem like she thinks Katha would want Viaan just for his money or something.
So its her thought process thats giving a negative vibe!
I wish she had this discussion with Viaan first, telling him about the "baggage" single women come with instead of accusing Katha first
What makes it worse is that she says that Katha being the woman should draw the line because she knows she can't stop her son if he's willing to go all in.
