SP as a channel deserves to sink, so does ITV on a whole. Limited series or season's can be the only way stories with dignity, well written consistent characters and writing can come back into fashion.

The format needs a serious revamp if the industry has to persist....the damage to ITV's reputation is on some other level now. There is no dignity left to storytelling in this format except for some very rare cases.

ITV has to go the pak tv way if it wants to improve in quality. In past two years I and many others have gone from watching our first pak show to being obsessed with them. Even pak shows have some bad and regressive shows like fitoor, Jalan, qalandar and mujhe pyaar hua tha but even those are bearable because they have limited episodes still.

ITV has actually gotten worse as years go by whereas I don't remember it being anywhere near this bad when I was younger.
