Really really crass and insensitive to use Devadasi parallels by Vankar as a plot device but what better can we expect from him?

They have very deliberately chosen Satya's family to be of unmarried Lavani dancers and have shown Girija committing suicide because Girisa's intercaste love story was stigmatised by her social circle

My guess is Amba doesn't really need to turn negetive. Once married, Sai will discover the social ostracisation faced by Satya and co and will try to be their saviour (really really insensitive to marginalised communities of traditional dancers btw).

She'd discover Satya to be a Chavhan and fight for his birthright. Mess hoga. Satya will recover from his PTSD and fall in love with her. Inka love story chalega mast ek saal.

Devadasis are victims of sexual exploitation even today and they should'nt use it blindly as a plot prop. On paper, these women coming together, empowering themselves by forming a family, that society doesn't allow them to be a part of is so good. But I doubt, Vanku and his TRP machine will look at these things.

But I would say that them becoming a charity case for Sai to solve is still bad. None of them have any agency then and are trivialised to plot device to glorify FL or move plot.

My only thing with Sayta being illegitimate is, if it is so, he will never come to CN (unless he is negative). Without any support from someone inside the house, there is little Sai can do (I don't think she can bring him to the house and say, I and he deserve to stay here from now on as he is a Chavan. I don't think Satya would want this also). Besides, if he is truly illegitimate, he has no rights that can be claimed in CN.

I am assuming for him to be brought to CN, he will be legitimate (Purely looking at how it is presented, the Adhikari women are small in number and not diverse i.e all have same issue. There plot won't last long and the next logical track is issues between Satya and Sai which will be repetitive)

Also, Satya being legitimate and still identifying with the women as his family (since he grew up with them and can be considered to be one of them), it is a little better treatment than the matter than Sai solving it as a one off

(I am thinking Vanku won't let go of the in your face, disgusting equations he likes to portray. Besides CN cast is big and already set with so many dynamics. He will not throw away all that easy plot I think. But if the ML and PL are leaving, then what you are saying could be possible. CN could be phased out)

PS : I am not playing devil's advocate 🙈..... I am genuinely a Sai fan and want Satya and his family to be all that Virat and CN wasn't. They can show good drama like this as well. I am only trying to read plot from what is presented and from what I understand ❤️

Oh, I don't think the Bhatts are leaving. They would have to bring in Saiya and Virakhi under the same roof for drama. Sai has a penchant for idealism at the cost of what is achieveable. So, I don't think Satya's reluctance or Chavhan snobbery will stop her from raising a ruckus. Maybe Satya's illegitimacy will cause a scandal to Bhavani's political career— making her financially retaliate against the Adhikaris bringing them together. Maybe Satya is an illegitimate child fostered by Amba's ilk. Maybe Ninad brings them together out of paternal guilt. That will bring in drama on various folds.

But Satya being a Chavhan is pretty well thought out given his exposition. They wouldn't have chosen a family entirely of Lavani dancers if that weren't the case

And, tbh, they can phase out two of the ladies when the times comes to go to the circus house. It's not like all of them have pivotal roles.

Wow avni enjoyed the post and you have put a lot of thought in this backstory 👍🏼. I am okay with either direction, but the execution should be good.

But with regards to Sai however, I really dont think she will fight in CN for Satya. I understand where you are coming from. Sai has fought for the rights all members of CN (Sai fighting for Mohit and feeding him was one of the sweetest things I have seen on ITV). However, I do believe Sai’s character as it stands now is not one that will rock status quo if it means hurting innocent people. Even today she said will think of everyone and not ruin lives, not be selfish etc. Sai will for sure help his PTSD and stand with him if he is humiliated (which could be a possible track. Maybe media find out Satya is illegitimate and humiliate him publically, due to Bhavani’s celebrity as a politician). In short she will help overcome his issues with status. But I don’t think she will go to Chavan Niwas and force Satya’s presence on Ninad’s current family. She did the same for Vinu. With regards to Ninad bringing them, I don’t know if Satya is the type to go (considering Ninad must have abandoned them). If it really is Ninad. My bet is still on Nagesh (due to Katin phaisle shadi se pehle dialogue of Bhavani) 😜

Sai will suggest Satya to marry her and not the other way around (because of Virat still forcing/begging for a chance)

Virat will not separate Sai from Savi (as his character arc is on the rebound now and if he does, the famed Sai ghum hai kisi kein pyar mein won't happen)

Maamla bohot hi ulaj raha hai, har episode mein tone shift ho raha hai. Mein English mein shift ho jaati hu kyunki mujhe auto correct se ladna nahi.

So, I was saying, there is a tonal shift in every episode - From 3-4 episodes, every episode is dedicated to two characters discussing the situation and through their dialogues and stance, their perception of what is happening is set. Not only is it for driving the narrative to shaadi, I believe Vanku is setting the ground for all characters and how they will react when the bombshell, that is SaiYa marriage falls on them (Ashwini and Pakhi’s reactions to Sai were clues today I think)

There are very little clues. It is easy to predict long arcs but predicting episode by episode is to predict the execution. Manzil toh sab ko pata hai lekin raasta kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Nevertheless, I try to predict. Yeh fair user warning hai, mujhe baad mein mat peetna.

Honestly, I’m blank about Savi’s place in all of this marriage scenario. Savi is a grey area like Virat. Difficult to predict. So I go with the easier to predict Sai. I don’t think Sai will shift Savi to a completely strange home in 24 hours. Sai from what I understand will not loose both children I think. Character wise, Sai lives for her children. She came to CN to live with her ex for Vinu. She accepted Patralekha for Vinu, remember the bs friendship. Sai survived loss of Vinu due to Savi. In her mind whatever, she is doing is for her children. She will never let Savi go after giving up Vinu

My predictions for tomorrow are :

1. Sai will escape tomorrow with Savi (Alternative is making Sai come back and cry for Savi, Vanku drama ke liye itna bhi mat giro ✋)

2. Sai will give Savi to Usha maushi before meeting Satya (Aivihi Usha maushi Kankavli se suddenly padwa manake nahi aayi, me thinks).

3. Sai will not leave with the intention of marrying Satya, but Virat Sai ke peeche aayega. Abhi Virat ki deewani aur dekhni baki hai. Sai will very literally be forced I think by him. More to say about how and when it will happen, reserving it for more clues.

Honestly, there are many open threads. Where will Satya and Sai stay till entering CN (Sai will not suddenly come knocking on Amba’s house with Savi, I think the shift is gradual as Vanku has to set some dynamics. Will update later). What will Virat do in all of this? And what will he do after marriage until Sai comes back to CN? What about P? How will Vanku tie all threads together? For now it is exciting.
