IMO character isn't about running away from situation but staying put and facing them. Imagine if AK has been rescued by Neela maa and she raises fighting against all odds, that'd have given the drama and would have given her a character growth.

Finally I never liked AA admiring at AK for years, to me life is about living fruitfully with the person of your choice in a morally correct way and not putting up with a sham marriage, living a life of false pretense.

Honestly they made her character pathetic!

Also the joke that was the law exams!

Instead of uttering pathetic dialogues like never underestimate the power of a indian wife, it would've been better to show her attend the exam!

What a nice message that would've sent, it is never too late to learn or achieve something new be it jam making or achieving a qualification! Even if you are a young mother!

Nah they want her to be aloo baigan maker!

Then She was taking away her love and if Abhimanyu would not have done that suicide attempt she would have lost her love and got them married. Then after marriage Abhimanyu always controlled , dominated her. Did you ask me.. Why did do this way that way .. After first divorce she gave importance to khera and his promise than thinking practically... After second divorce she got atleast friend/Stranger/Husband who was with her in all odds and ofcourse adorable child..

I feel in this season from childhood itself they made Akshara's character weak by bringing in Aarohi. And I still find her weak because she is being so controlled first by her sister and mykaa then by her husband and in laws.

Then this should have been her time to become strong! Don't like navs interference! I like my strong single mother cliche! It would have even funnier if she hated all men because of what abhimanyu did to her 🤣

Anyway I'm glad you are enjoying the sharmas, for me I miss the pre leap vibe even with the ddp overload! I'm one of them people who hates change so this sudden partner exchang is no fun for me.

Hey Nisha, I feel the AA character is too unreal and practically not possible, I could never understand the point of living a sham marriage with someone admiring and ogling at them for several years.

For me his character has 3 conflicting dimensions:

The talkative sensible guy who is capable enough to articulate his thoughts yet not daring enough to admit his feelings to AK or call her without JI added to her name.

The understanding husband who threatens abhimanyu with dire consequences when AB wanted Akshara back, abhinav and AK didn't have any real wife and husband relationship between them. He was internally insecure about AK feelings for him.

The kind and sacrificial lamb like fatherji who talks non sensical things to Akshara when Abhir was admitted in the hospital.

The above points prove the usual shambolic writing and characterisation which is consistent throughout this season.

Agree with all your points except in my opinion only good thing they had this season is Abhinav, his positivity, maturity and understanding both as husband and non biological father was amazing to watch though only for short period. As I think he will be killed off soon.

Some of Abhira moments were good too but that also for very short period of time. Now I can't connect to them even if they reunite because of same reasons you mentioned divorces etc.

Again that's only my opinion but we all have different reasons to connect and disconnect from story.

Egzactly 🤣 The no.of things akshara is shown to be venturing into is too many. She was a musician, owns a dance academy, singer, musical therapist, rock band artist, lawyer and jam maker. Her expertise lies in running away from situations and lying to people by hiding/manipulating facts from family members. The flaws of AK character dissipates the toxicity of abhimanyu character.

Let's not talk about Abhimanyu’s redemption! Booked a ticket for France but landed in South Africa! Like how is he redeemed by being respectful to arhu of all people!! Nothing makes sense!

Oh domestic violence aye yai yai..another one!

Marriage of convenience doesn't need to be normalized in a country already having d highest proportion of arranged marriages in d world. As to hiding Abhir's parentage (even after taking into account d events that transpired on white day n afterwards), yeah I too feel it's immoral. But seeing Birlas, their parvarish, their core values, I can't bring myself to blame Ak. She chose self-interest over morals & I second that. Also agree to this that I would never ever rely on a stranger over my family, but then neither do I share such compromising, strained relationships with my fam members, nor do I have a troubled, guilt-ridden childhood. Basically I don't have d faintest idea of how a person in Ak's shoes would or should behave, so I'm giving her d benefit of doubt. Plus if suddenly Nav doesn't turn grey or black, then her choice wasn't wrong either so not holding anything against her. Ik you just wrote ur opinion n here I'm only saying mine. Indeed for me, love is v.imp. But in relationships where I'm not already bound by blood (like with my parents, siblings, etc.) I do require some base upon which I could develop that love. That base whether it's for my friends or my partner will be - trust, understanding, care, concern, commitment, genuineness & maturity I share with them. It won't work for me d other way round. Love is like a house one wishes to spend their whole life in and if Ik d foundation is shaky I can never bring myself to invest into it.

I don't agree with any of the points Rajiji but let's leave it :)... We see it very differently and I am tired so will not write essays when I know he will be killed off soon. And today work pressure is also lot so will focus on that instead.. Just came here for so laughs 😂😂

The so-called "Sidey" is the best-written character of this generation. The leads are not even half of Abhinav

Agree that Birlas are very toxic, but that doesnt justify AK hiding the childbirth truth. ITV thrives on sensationalism hence hiding fatherhood is a hackneyed plot idea. But still it's a worst mistake with adverse impact on child Abhir.

Also, Goenkas are very bad and never been able to balance the girls really well. As a result AK was very misaligned and stoic when it comes to expressing her emotions, confiding with others but keeping those secrets away from the family are contrasting to the values she claims to practise.

Sadly none of AKSHU'S flaws were ever rectified or shown to have outgrown in her entire journey.
