More than half of these people who are bashing are not even thinking things in an objective manner.. they are releasing their inner turmoils...stress.. anger.. So that they can clean their system and be ready to face the next hurdle.. It is definitely not healthy.. but many people are not educated or mentored properly to deal with these things..

so to attack the core.. is everyone getting access to proper mental health.. i guess..

All we can do is to help people release their stress and frustrations of their personal lives in a productive and positive manner.. instead of bashing real and reel people..

As for your question...

I do not absolutely belive that what someone has to say about a fictional character on a show is a reflection of their personal thoughts in entirety. That is my personal opinion, we can choose to differ. And Abhira Fandom is very huge, it is absolutely absurd to think that thousands of people think alike on everything.

And really whom did I generalise? Did I tag the every particular member of this forum and say that you troll Jay? So where is this victimisation coming from? First, some people negate the severity of cyber bullying by calling it a promotional tactic, then say that our leads don't speak out against it so why is he? Arre baba who stopped your leads? Then it became about nobody bashing Abhinav but bashing Abhimanyu, then it has come down to calling out classist comments is cyber bullying.

People have only if ever specifically called out toxic shippers but so,e people from the other side have openly made posts saying things like "abhi ayyenge AA ke bhakt uski raksha karme". Is that not generalization and gatekeeping too? When people themselves indulge in that behavior they don't get the moral high ground to call out others for doing the same.

I am on Twitter or social media but I only use it to get clips of the show i may have not read everything in there. As here Abhira fans are at least not mocking JS. At least I have seen him from SGP days and I will try his new show which has comedy elements usually, I am up for comedy shows and he is good with it. But here I have signed up for Abhira and whatever we discuss it's solely for Akshu and Abhinav and I usually have problems more with Akshu than Abhinav. Abhira fans have stopped coming out and replying on any posts as they just want to ignore questioning and moral policing at some point. Which is not good as people tend to avoid putting out their opinions in order to avoid negativity. Even I sort of only reply to some posts now in which I feel my likes and pov will not be questioned and people don't attack me for choosing abhimanyu over abhinav.

Yes, I like him the most.. and I will defend his actions.. if they are defend-able but I am not going like Nav Blindly... If he does something horrible.. I will not see him anymore..

That's the difference. Some fans know ITV from long time. and everyone knows ml will be ruined in order to bring leap. Even maa where Anuj was everyone's favorite has been butchered and shown insensitive and he is going gaga over his lost adopted child over his 26year old love. But this is done for trp. so some of us skip those irritating epis and start watching again when everything goes normal. As those actions were brought in order to add masala to the drama. Even I skipped white day episodes as it was horrible.

And I also make sure to add 'toxic' and 'non-toxic' prefixes for Abhira fans for my serious answers..

But Diya... If you know you are not a toxic shipper.. then you shouldn't let this generalization affect you...

My point was when we are feeling so bad for js i wanted to tell other forum members that mocking members based on their choices is also bad. Like if I want akshara to be career oriented women and wanted her not to depend on Abhinav people call me out saying there is nothing bad in moving on and she was in trauma and i do not understand trauma patients and i am non empathetic. But my point was not even that. She married Abhinav without love. He was a total stranger. If he was her friend I can still understand. She should be shown as an example for ppl who are watching it to give the message "Don't let your trauma to control you". But rather than understanding my point, i have been called out as unrealistic, non-empathetic. Which also hurts me.

But sad reality is there are non-toxic normal and sensible 'abhira' fans as well as non-toxics normal and sensible 'nav'/navra fans.. but because of their toxic counterparts everyone will be maligned.

Yes, it should be both ways we should not generalize. I have moved on from all those posts and stay away from getting involved in any arguments but we should not just start questioning human choices for a fictional character.

As everyone makes choices based on their experiences. Like people who know Anupama did wrong by supporting shah fam will understand Anuj.

But people who knows anuj accepted her with her past and now he questioning her about going to shah and leaving his 26 years love will question Anuj.

Similarly for akshu, People who have seen her confidence her passion for singing will look for confident akshu than a person who dependent on abhinav.

People who have seen akshu with abhi and only remembers white day and some of his anger scenes they would prefer akshu staying with abhinav.

Everyone has perspective. We should not get involved in personal attacks for a fictional character as similar to jay soni forum members also are humans.

I feel really sad that you have been attacked for voicing out your opinions and your perspective.

I think I remember that conversation in one of the topics some time back.. I don't remember the usernames(i never do..) but it was something related to Ak's trauma... and getting out of it..

When I read it.. I did not agree with both the parties much.. and besides it was a long to and fro conversation.. but there was not much communicated.. I don't know if this was the one you talked about...

communication is the joint responsibility of the speaker and the listener.. even if one side gives 100% and the other side does not try.. then there is nothing properly communicated. So may be both you and the other person couldn't properly communicate.. maybe it was a bad day for either one of you...

but just because your point was not properly communicated does not make you the bad communicator..

If someone thinks of you as something that is not true, don't take it to your heart.. after all no one knows you better than your self..

Whenever we interacted, I felt that you are a sensible and funny person.. but that is only a part of you.. I don't know anything about you.. it.. I don't know your pains.. so even if i make a judgment of you based of the little out of you.. you can be assure that it is based only on a part of you.. not the whole you..

I have never shipped any character in my entire life... I just like stories and let the creators tell me the stories.. I decide to leave the story.. when it is boring..

So when I don't do shipping.. I can not exactly understand the shippers mentality.. I try.. but I still can not properly empathize with shippers.. maybe there is something wrong with my wiring in brain..

That's why I never understood the emotional investment of a shipper.. I can leave the show whenever I want but not the shipper..

I also wanted Ak to be indifferent to Abhi.. but it was not written that way.. I had no other choice to accept it that writers wrote Ak that way.. Fanfictions help us in that department.. We can always set the narrative according to our feelings there.. Maybe you can write a fanfic about a career oriented Ak or Ak meeting her collage best friend Nav after white day.. If your writing is good then maybe your opinions will not be misunderstood?

We tried...but I'll put this in short this time.

Both me or Diya do not stand for cyber bullying of anyone and have called it out repeatedly 5-6 times on this very thread.

Nor do we stand for 'SOME' toxic Abhira fans and trust me everyone is aware that they exist! All fandoms have toxic individuals....but individuals do not make the whole of any Fandom.

Discussion may have been about the actor but the point made here is that the mental health of fellow forum members is also affected by the generalizations...so please call everything out. That's all.

If you think us talking about our own mental healths getting affected by similar behaviour in this very forum is irrelevant to this topic, it's ok...we are not here to prove any points. You kept your points, we kept ours. We can agree to disagree.

This discussion will never come to a conclusion coz both sides say some very absurd things in jest thinking it is funny.

All kinds of people exist in every forum...I'm active on a thread everyday but there are some people I absolutely disagree with...I may try to reason a couple of times....but if it feels like it's not going to get the point across....I just ignore and move on and interact with people I relate with or if we can interact respectfully without attacking each other's psyche, we simply coexist in a comfortable space.

Yeah i agree she married abhi but it was a arrange marriage set up where she married him with families consent. They made sure to convince their family.

But here nobody knew who is her husband. Not talking about abhinav here but we are hearing news that girls who kind of takes up these decision end up being killed by her boyfriends and found dead and girls family don't even know what to do.

If she wanted to marry him she could have invited her family and married infront of them. As atleast they will know who is their jamai. But she just announced it to them that she is married and they have not even seen their jamai's photo for past 6 years.

Her family was not a villain who will say no to the marriage and may plot killing abhinav. They will agree eventually. Which did not go well with me as i personally believe that family has every right to know where are we.
