Threads are created to simply laugh on stuff, there you are also a troller having merry on someone's behest!

Practise what you preach!

BUT

I see people saying stuff like they won't understand all that here...who gave you the high horse in the first place? The simple fact that you look at people as beneath you just because they have a different opinion shows what your thought process is!

First of all you know nothing about any of us.

Shippers aren't a ship!

Some of us maybe abuse victims and survivors

Some of us may ourselves be single mother's

Some of us have been raised by single mother's and this has been discussed in our threads

Some of us have spoken about marital abuse and our experiences in our threads

So when you generalise by saying stuff like Abhira FD is this and that know that you are equally hypocritical and judgmental about all of us!

Know the difference between shippers and humans as different entities having their own life problems. And if you know that difference choose your words more sensitively while mocking others in a generic manner.

Again laughing on a fictional character is not harrassment (especially when the character is not being mocked for his social background but his actions.)

People might be 'n' number of things in real life but if they make problematic or prejudiced statements, they will be called out. Neither I nor Akshnav fans are exempt from this fundamental principle.

Where as leads have fans to defend and share positive messages....It is not same with parallel leads....Also just because lead got hate doesn't justify spewing venom on others...I really wish one celebrity file case against these online nameless harassers....one should be sued then all these trash will learn lesson

Ya, well and good... I'm only talking about actor's being attacked not character's. Threads are created for both here.

But these prejudiced statements are problematic is what Diya is trying to say here....please don't say people here don't make generic statements that make it sound like all of us are advocates of domestic abuse and all of it. We are not. Attacking someone for what they like does not make those same people advocates for what they like.

Saying stuff like we like to see domestic abuse just because someone says something against Abhinav the character or whatever is equally triggering. When mental health is a topic of discussion, forum members sensitivity and mental health should be before these actors who may never read our posts.

Diya really is not talking about JS, HC or PR....she's talking about everyone's mental health getting affected by unnecessary attacks. That's all. And it's a very fair thing to say considering the kind of words and assumptions easily done everywhere on forum from both sides!

And still waiting for abhira union and abhi and abhir bonding as that's what we wished to see. I have seen comments where ppl straight away say abhira fans did this did that. But what is the proof that all abhira fans are bad. If they really want to call out it should be in a way that it does not hurt others who are not even involved in this.

We can use words like some fans why specifically call out abhira fans in every damn posts. It makes me wonder does abhira fans also have some fan followers who wants to chant our name in every post 🤣

Doesn't generalization work both ways... If people are getting called Abhira fans... then there are also people being called Navra fan.. Nav Stan.. AA bhakts.. etc...

I am seen as a Nav stan... But I am not much affected by it as I know I am not one..

Yes, I like him the most.. and I will defend his actions.. if they are defend-able but I am not going like Nav Blindly... If he does something horrible.. I will not see him anymore..

And I also make sure to add 'toxic' and 'non-toxic' prefixes for Abhira fans for my serious answers..

But Diya... If you know you are not a toxic shipper.. then you shouldn't let this generalization affect you...

But sad reality is there are non-toxic normal and sensible 'abhira' fans as well as non-toxics normal and sensible 'nav'/navra fans.. but because of their toxic counterparts everyone will be maligned.

like the saying goes..

one fish can spoil the whole lake...

and here there are many many toxic fans..

Might I ask what does it mean to say something classist about a fictional character and then take a u-turn and say that we are not like this irl?

What does it mean to say that women toh take time to move on but Akshara's character was butchered because she just jumped and married Abhinav and then say that we do not think like this irl?

Then where do these value judgements on fictional characters come from? Some martian fantasy?

If xyz says Manjari is bad mother, is not it because they have their understanding of what is a good mother from real life?

So yeah, prejudiced statements will be called out

You are not getting the point we tried to make here .. proving others wrong does not make one right.

If mental health is important, stop attacking the mental health of the very people you share the forum with by generalizing.

Call out wrong for wrong everywhere and just end it!

As for your question...

I do not absolutely belive that what someone has to say about a fictional character on a show is a reflection of their personal thoughts in entirety. That is my personal opinion, we can choose to differ. And Abhira Fandom is very huge, it is absolutely absurd to think that thousands of people think alike on everything.

Well, I always roam around many forums in site as I never swear any sort of allegiance to any show and leave the show and forum when it gets boring..

But I must say... I was in this forum for some months in the initial days of Yrkkh3 beginning.. at that time I did not feel it much.. I had nice deep discussions and some good laughs.. I left after tilak1 drama.. and returned for JS entry and Abhir- Abhina relation.. but the forum now really felt toxic...At first I felt this (yrrkkh forum)became most insensitive and immature forum...

So naturally at first I connected that to Abhira Fandom.. because it was not like this before..

But then I found few sensible Abhira fans and then stopped generalizing.. and made sure to differentiate..

although this forum still feels much much more negative than before though..

The comments are much more disgusting.. the blatant classism.. the prejudice.. the immaturity.. the insensitivity... everything just makes the forum experience much more sad..

It absolutely does and I absolutely admire you for the way you interact. We differ but very respectfully and actually manage to have conversations with our differences. That is how it should be. What's the point in arguing all the time against something that does not even fit into our thought frames for fictional characters.

And I respect you for always saying some Abhira fans...if you can explain why you do it to some more folks....there'll be less hullabaloo on this topic next time.

I am on Twitter or social media but I only use it to get clips of the show i may have not read everything in there. As here Abhira fans are at least not mocking JS. At least I have seen him from SGP days and I will try his new show which has comedy elements usually, I am up for comedy shows and he is good with it. But here I have signed up for Abhira and whatever we discuss it's solely for Akshu and Abhinav and I usually have problems more with Akshu than Abhinav. In my OS also I have made Abhinav a positive person as my major concern was Akshu trusting a stranger and not taking up her career seriously. As I always felt akshu being educated should not take such steps. If abhinav was her friend i would still be okay with her decisions.

I am seen as a Nav stan... But I am not much affected by it as I know I am not one..

Abhira fans have stopped coming out and replying on any posts as they just want to ignore questioning and moral policing at some point. Which is not good as people tend to avoid putting out their opinions in order to avoid negativity. Even I sort of only reply to some posts now in which I feel my likes and pov will not be questioned and people don't attack me for choosing abhimanyu over abhinav.

Yes, I like him the most.. and I will defend his actions.. if they are defend-able but I am not going like Nav Blindly... If he does something horrible.. I will not see him anymore..

That's the difference. Some fans know ITV from long time. and everyone knows ml will be ruined in order to bring leap. Even maa where Anuj was everyone's favorite has been butchered and shown insensitive and he is going gaga over his lost adopted child over his 26year old love. But this is done for trp. so some of us skip those irritating epis and start watching again when everything goes normal. As those actions were brought in order to add masala to the drama. Even I skipped white day episodes as it was horrible.

And I also make sure to add 'toxic' and 'non-toxic' prefixes for Abhira fans for my serious answers..

👍🏼

But Diya... If you know you are not a toxic shipper.. then you shouldn't let this generalization affect you...

My point was when we are feeling so bad for js i wanted to tell other forum members that mocking members based on their choices is also bad. Like if I want akshara to be career oriented women and wanted her not to depend on Abhinav people call me out saying there is nothing bad in moving on and she was in trauma and i do not understand trauma patients and i am non empathetic. But my point was not even that. She married Abhinav without love. He was a total stranger. If he was her friend I can still understand. She should be shown as an example for ppl who are watching it to give the message "Don't let your trauma to control you". But rather than understanding my point, i have been called out as unrealistic, non-empathetic. Which also hurts me.

But sad reality is there are non-toxic normal and sensible 'abhira' fans as well as non-toxics normal and sensible 'nav'/navra fans.. but because of their toxic counterparts everyone will be maligned.

Yes, it should be both ways we should not generalize. I have moved on from all those posts and stay away from getting involved in any arguments but we should not just start questioning human choices for a fictional character.

As everyone makes choices based on their experiences. Like people who know Anupama did wrong by supporting shah fam will understand Anuj.

But people who knows anuj accepted her with her past and now he questioning her about going to shah and leaving his 26 years love will question Anuj.

Similarly for akshu, People who have seen her confidence her passion for singing will look for confident akshu than a person who dependent on abhinav.

People who have seen akshu with abhi and only remembers white day and some of his anger scenes they would prefer akshu staying with abhinav.

Everyone has perspective. We should not get involved in personal attacks for a fictional character as similar to jay soni forum members also are humans.
