he does. He’s been brought within a rigid system of rules where is right is white and wrong is black and he’s grown up strangled by this shackles even though he is KMK. And here comes Meerab who’s never given a damn about this or even her family when it comes to her opinions. She fights the system and questions it. And he low key admires her for it

but yes whenever she stands up to him he does lash out. That’s the feudal lord establishing authority. But eventually he folds to accommodate her - that’s the husband who admires her free thinking
