I am going to split the negative from the review of the show.

This post is negative rant only on Meerab BEWARE

In every episode since the slap we are like this is it this is the moment they have ruined the characters, but somehow we are able to reign it back in and find some justifications for their behaviour, there is a collective sigh and TBA marches on. This time I just don't know how to find any justification for what they did to Meerab, so I target all my rage against the writers.

When she didn't clear the initial misunderstanding she was lying by omission. Forgiven

When Murtasim asked her to confirm the truth publicly she was lying consciously. Forgiven

When she stopped Murtasim from telling the truth now she is not just lying she is scheming. Forgiven

What is not forgiven is that she hopes to continue this lie until welllllllllllll forever. Because she is scared for her izzat WHAT IZZAT, the moment she lied she tarnished her izzat. Since when was she such a coward. Murtasim asked the same questions we wanted to ask what the hell is she doing. Yesterday cuteness was all fun, we enjoyed it I am glad for it but today they should just be putting their heads together trying to come up with a strategy.

What should have happened in this episode is they both come up with a plan to go to the doctor, and the doctor would scientifically negate the pregnancy was a genuine mistake and the matter ends. Of course before they could go to the doctor the contract is disclosed and now MM are confused as to how to handle this matter delicately without blowing 'we didn't have sex' cover yet. This is how they redeem her, give her a plan, even if the plan is stupid anything is better than nothing.

I don't care if she doesn't love Murtasim yet, make him sleep in the garden for all I care, I don't care she is talking to sticky notes, but don't destroy her truth, her convictions, her self respect. She has done the right thing for the right reasons, we might not agree with those reasons but her heart is always in the right place. How they made her handle this fake pregnancy is not the same girl who said sign the contract or FOUUCKKK OFF.

The joke is on the writers, the more they sink Meerab's charaacter they make Murtasim look bad too. Would he admire and love a liar, a schemer and a coward, this only makes him just as stupid as she is. His whole 'Tum Meri Meerub Ho was shot to hell, where is his himmatwali, sach ke ladne wali, kisi se darnewaali. She didn't show courage, or speak the truth, and got scared when there was nothing to be scared of to begin with. Just because she makes mistakes doesn't mean she will stop being all those things that Murtasim admires about her. Even the bravest of us, strongest of us, truest of us will falter but I wish they gave her a real adversary to justify her sacrificing her principles.

Now if I did dig deeeeeeeeep deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep so deep I reach the remains of Titanic the only justification for this lie is that maybe she wishes she was pregnant. WTH what do I know.

This does not mean I am giving up on Meerab. This is the writers doing I blame them, have they completely ruined the story no not yet.

This is a Matrix glitch, once we reload we should be back.

I might review the episode sorry guys. I don't think the episode had enough substance even for my mindless writings. There were a few husband wife cute moments though.

I have always loved meerab’s character, but now i feel in order to show murtasim in a better light (knight in shinning amor comes to the savior), they are making meerab act dumb.. or shall i say un relatable. Her actions dont make any sense..

We clearly see she loves him, but not ready to accept it. Why cant they focus on that, give her monologues. Also, meerab herself is enough for haya.. she can take matters into her own hands.

Like you said, wasnt murtasim attracted to this « himat wali girl » but i dont see the himat wali anymore.

At the end, the writer simply wanted to show this AWESOME husband doing everything for the love of his wife..

Also the whole rohail track, answering his calls n all dosent make sense to me..

i wont go on bashing mode since TB is so unpredictable LOL and then next week i will have to apologize 😂

Maa begum is the typical mother who thinks her son is the best man in the whole universe. Any girl should feel lucky to be his wife - that's her mindset. She individually does not have a problem with meerab. She is not a negative saas who cannot see her bete bahu ki khushi. Her pov is ki usko bas apne bete ko khush dekhna hai.

With the contract being revealed, and I guess the fake pregnancy thing too, she now feels they are not happy together. By their own agreement, there is no relationship between them. So if there is nothing, then why keep this farce of a marriage around? She is thinking it is better to leave and move on.

100% agree on that..its high time we stop portraying these toxic men and girls falling for them… not sure if u saw cheek, even in that drama i loved the second brother who supported his wife all the way…

however i just wished they would also give meerab the same spotlight..

I remember someone said, no one expected TB to be this big and successful.. so the characters are not properly developed..

I have watched cheekh and Yes Emmad irfani's character was soo good in that one but unfortunately dramas main achy husbands ko usually marr detey hain yan unko dukhi hi rakhty hain. Unko biwi ka pyaar muskhil sy naseeb hota hai 😂 (Do bol and Dilagi's male lead)

Ofcourse it is not a well written drama, characters have no consistency. A doting husband, a gentleman like murtu can't slap any woman, that slap was a big loophole, similarly meerab's character is also not well written.

Episode 26

Last two episodes have been a filler episode, there was nothing which could have helped the story move forward, but still there were certain things which are concerning.

First and the biggest concern, Haya’s criminal act, she has gone too far in her madness, what she did was clearly a murder attempt on Meerub and now it’s high time that Murtasim being the head take some decisions regarding her, they need to send her to jail or a mental hospital.

Second Meerub’s attempt to deliberately hide the pregnancy, I don’t see any point in this track except the fun angle if makers wanted us to see that. It was cute and funny by all means, but she played with the feelings of some people, I know it was MB who assumed things but Meerub stretched it for almost 3 days which was really bad on her part but I can understand where she was coming from and they could have ended in a better way instead of humiliating Meerasim due to their contract, Haya threw her down the stairs and they could have shown miscarriage, I understand it is a sensitive topic but that could have make better sense than to drag this drama for nothing at least this lie could have put an stop on Haya’s delusions that they are happy with their marriage.

Third was privacy, why no one in this house can respect the privacy of the heir and his wife?? Haya invaded their privacy by searching theirs rooms and reading that contract and the elders wanted to know about their sexual life. Are they really serious??

Fourth was that psycho who doesn’t know the meaning of limits, rejection and Marriage. Who is continuously manipulating a married woman in the name of love and living in his delusional world where he is the husband.

Meerub should not hide that psycho from Murtasim, he deserves to know about him after all the trust he has shown in her. Sometimes no third person but our own lies destroys our happiness and there is a high chance that it is going to happen with Meerub. It’s high time that she tells Murtasim about Rohail and Haya as well. They both need to go somewhere.

Apart from fun pregnancy ko i think islye highlight kia gaya kun k after marriage larki ko kuch bhi issue ho everyone assume that she is pregnant... Idher itna serious issue nahi dekhaya bt there is cases where a girl is suffering from some serious issue r doc ko dekhanay ki jaga yeh assume kia jata she is pregnant...

What i understand about meerub she was happy being pampered... 1st time she got that much attention by every one after marriage which she was enjoying... Thats y wo kuch din r yeh sb chupana chati the so that sb use pamper karain ... N the 2nd thing is slap on haya face ise acha kia hoga r k haya come to know they are expecting... About rohail wo uljhi hui hai... She is thinking what if rohail use purpose karta r us ki murtasim s shadi na hoti... Atleast us k pass choice to hoti... No dought murtasim buht acha hai buht caring r loving hai defend karta ... What if rohail use pehlay bata deta r wo rohail ko consider karti r apni study k liye time le leti n rohail use support karta... bt on the other hand she is bound by murtasim.. she didn't want to hurt his feelings as well .. she said to him ab shyad kabhi na mil skaon tmhn... R agr us n rohail k bare mn murtasim ko bata dia to wo definitely us ka murder kar dega as she saw him before k wo us ko le k kitna possessive hai jo k wo nahi chahti 1 to rohail us ka friend hai 2 murtasim k haton us ka murder ho jana thats y wo khud tackle karnay ki try kar rahe rohail ko... Haya ka lets see k wo batati hai k nahi ...
