I am going to split the negative from the review of the show.

This post is negative rant only on Meerab BEWARE

In every episode since the slap we are like this is it this is the moment they have ruined the characters, but somehow we are able to reign it back in and find some justifications for their behaviour, there is a collective sigh and TBA marches on. This time I just don't know how to find any justification for what they did to Meerab, so I target all my rage against the writers.

When she didn't clear the initial misunderstanding she was lying by omission. Forgiven

When Murtasim asked her to confirm the truth publicly she was lying consciously. Forgiven

When she stopped Murtasim from telling the truth now she is not just lying she is scheming. Forgiven

What is not forgiven is that she hopes to continue this lie until welllllllllllll forever. Because she is scared for her izzat WHAT IZZAT, the moment she lied she tarnished her izzat. Since when was she such a coward. Murtasim asked the same questions we wanted to ask what the hell is she doing. Yesterday cuteness was all fun, we enjoyed it I am glad for it but today they should just be putting their heads together trying to come up with a strategy.

What should have happened in this episode is they both come up with a plan to go to the doctor, and the doctor would scientifically negate the pregnancy was a genuine mistake and the matter ends. Of course before they could go to the doctor the contract is disclosed and now MM are confused as to how to handle this matter delicately without blowing 'we didn't have sex' cover yet. This is how they redeem her, give her a plan, even if the plan is stupid anything is better than nothing.

I don't care if she doesn't love Murtasim yet, make him sleep in the garden for all I care, I don't care she is talking to sticky notes, but don't destroy her truth, her convictions, her self respect. She has done the right thing for the right reasons, we might not agree with those reasons but her heart is always in the right place. How they made her handle this fake pregnancy is not the same girl who said sign the contract or FOUUCKKK OFF.

The joke is on the writers, the more they sink Meerab's charaacter they make Murtasim look bad too. Would he admire and love a liar, a schemer and a coward, this only makes him just as stupid as she is. His whole 'Tum Meri Meerub Ho was shot to hell, where is his himmatwali, sach ke ladne wali, kisi se darnewaali. She didn't show courage, or speak the truth, and got scared when there was nothing to be scared of to begin with. Just because she makes mistakes doesn't mean she will stop being all those things that Murtasim admires about her. Even the bravest of us, strongest of us, truest of us will falter but I wish they gave her a real adversary to justify her sacrificing her principles.

Now if I did dig deeeeeeeeep deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep so deep I reach the remains of Titanic the only justification for this lie is that maybe she wishes she was pregnant. WTH what do I know.

This does not mean I am giving up on Meerab. This is the writers doing I blame them, have they completely ruined the story no not yet.

This is a Matrix glitch, once we reload we should be back.

I might review the episode sorry guys. I don't think the episode had enough substance even for my mindless writings. There were a few husband wife cute moments though.

My exact issue with Meerab.

This fake pregnancy track is so shoddily written but I still do not think it's something Meerab cannot do.

I would have taken her as a liar and completely unforgivable had she lied to Murtasim about the fake pregnancy as well. That would have been a fall from grace. ( Rohail issue is an altogether different tangent )

I was mad at Meerab for thinking about her izzat and keep the lie going until the teaser for next week. She thought, she will be humiliated if people know she is not pregnant, on top of that, people now know she does not have an intimate relationship with her husband as well. Her not being pregnant has already led her MIL suggesting her son to divorce her. So was she completely wrong in carrying on with the lie? No. Except it could have been handled logically and not make her look like the lesser person.

The reason most are bummed is because Meerab's indifference is shown in a stark contrast to Murtasim's devotion in this marriage. That is where the writer somewhere failed to gain a neutral perspective. But can I say I am not enjoying it? No. Because I am honestly curious to see how this absolutely ignorant wife will come around head over heels for her husband. What exactly will make her choose and return to him, only to not leave forever?

Meerab's confusions are being set up for the volcano that will be Murtasim's rage when he knows about Rohail.

I say, it's the calm before the storm in their lives, so should I say, their lovestory?

Tables will turn somehow and it will be her pursuing him.

The awareness and acceptance from both of them, that their marriage is hanging by a thread, and any moment, it can be pulled off, once either of them gives up.

They know they are not there yet.

They know their marriage isn't as solid to withstand all adversities yet.

This is actually a good exchange between the two

She knows he is scared to lose her, he does not deny it and tells her on face that it's the fear of losing her, but at the same time, it's a beautiful reassurance, that things can be all rosy between them. He will be there whenever she returns.

I love this bit more now than before.

MB did not suggest divorce her because she is not pregnant, she said if you cannot be husband and wife what is the point of this marriage. She is not completely wrong is she, why stay together if you cannot be together.

She has a clinical approach to marriage, she cannot possibly understand the complex dynamics of this couple and what they mean to each other.

Hell even writers don't.

Maa Begum does have a clinical approach to their marriage yes and she will never understand how these two are even managing to share a room together

I posted this yesterday, Maa Begum is not wrong in suggesting divorce, because we all know she has her son's best interest at heart and would obviously want her son to get out of a loveless marriage, but you cannot deny that she fears an unfruitful marriage between the two and wants to get done with it if there is no future.

Meerab can very well be sneaky, that's what I have interpreted from her character. Sure she shouldn't have lied to this extent, but she is surely a bit furtive, remember their scene after she says yes to the marriage.

Regarding maa begum in the teaser, I don't feel she is entirely wrong to suggest the idea of divorce. She did not say tum usse chod do. She said, agar tum chahte ho toh usse chod sakte ho. She is still giving the final choice to her son.

Maa begum is the typical mother who thinks her son is the best man in the whole universe. Any girl should feel lucky to be his wife - that's her mindset. She individually does not have a problem with meerab. She is not a negative saas who cannot see her bete bahu ki khushi. Her pov is ki usko bas apne bete ko khush dekhna hai.

With the contract being revealed, and I guess the fake pregnancy thing too, she now feels they are not happy together. By their own agreement, there is no relationship between them. So if there is nothing, then why keep this farce of a marriage around? She is thinking it is better to leave and move on.

Only problem - she is being a hypocrite. Jab murtasim ko shaadi nahi karni thi, tab zabardasti karwa di. Now when she knows that he loves her, she is giving these faltu ke ideas.

Fake pregnancy track I fail to understand. Murtasim gave her the perfect chance to come clean when maa begum announced the news to him. Then and there confusion clear ho jaata if she would have told the truth.

Meerab said meri kya izzat rahegi sabke saamne. At least iss baat pe mei sharminda nahi ho sakti. What do these dialogues mean??🤪🤪

How will continuing the lie save her izzat? She knows the truth will come out one day. Tab ki tab dekhenge. Bibi kya dekhengi aap? Sharminda toh aapko tab bhi hona padega.

I think the only reason for meerab to get fake pregnant was to bring out the madness of Haya out in the open. Going by the teaser, seems like maa begum now knows about her kaala jaadu. This is the only reason that I see. Meerasim ki story ko toh yeh kuch impact nahi kiya hai.

The article clearly mentions Mujhe pyaar hua tha and Saad's character. But in the tweet, jaan bujh ke saare Tere Bin ke hashtags use kiye hai just to lagao aag 😡

It is a matter of choice. Some like Murtasim, some like Saad. Sab cheez ko compare karne ki need nahi hai. Both characters are played by Wahaj brilliantly.
