There was a reason....

In initial episodes, one time ashwini said that 28 years of married life...so according to that virat was 27.

Later on after sai second accident they celebrated Ash Ninu..37th wedding anniversary. And virat born with in a year, so according that virat was 36..

36+ 4 years of sai MBBS(anniversary time sai was n second year)+ 1 year internship +7/8 years leap = 48/49 years

I thought Pakhi was older than Virat...Also, wasn't Virat considered to be one of the youngest police officer, as he qualified/ topped in his first attempt... 28 doesn't look like that young of an age.

I always thought Virat was like 5-6 years older than Sai.

So how many years of married life did Sai and Virat had starting from their deal marriage? 😂 More than 10 years. Itna toh nahi lagta Sairat lived together. If Virat is 48 or 49 then Sai too should be nearing 40 then because there's 9-10 years age difference between them.

Actually they messed up with Aai - Baba wedding anniversary....including deal marriage sairat might have stayed as around 6/7 years.

And they messed up with Sai MBBS degree...also...they never followed a proper time lone. There are many loopholes in story telling...so fd, which is suited to hype their favorite and to criticize opposite they are taking it..

Yup I too feel Sairat only had 7 or 8 years of married life not more than that. Sai is definitely in her 30s and Virat, Pakhi in their 40s. Satya looks older than Sai and younger than Virat so he must be in late 30s.

@blue - Even I thought the same. I always thought Virat was around 24 or 25 in the initial episodes. Only when people mentioned here that Virat was 28 I came to know.

I think this was another mistake, but in initial days. If i remember correctly, the first time we got to know about the 10 year age gap between Sai and Virat, it was during their reception (or something, where Sai wore pink saree). Some aunties commented upon their age difference. I thought since that was a taunt, it might have been exaggerated. But the show went with it.

To me, it makes no sense for Virat to be 28 years old during his wedding.

BUT, I also don;t remember anything, so I might be way off.

If not anything he was certainly 9-10 yrs older, because they kept talking abt how he has married apne se aadhi umra ki ladki..

5-6 years is not that much of a difference..it's common even in real.

At the time of marriage Pakhi was 26, it was clearly mentioned in the episode..in bhavani and mansi convo.

Exactly! That's why I thought they made him so young and had so many people emphasize the fact that he was young and qualified on his first attempt, so as to avoid the creepy age-gap.

But...oh well.
