He is in the new ost as well as there is a scene from the old ost where he is seen sitting with the family and samiya. There is no way he is gonna be there if samiya and his marriage never happened.
He was so convincing with the father. Nobody will tell he is lying through the teeth. But i think every promises he made will eventually turn out to be true if he is the end game for samiya.
I was thinking the same. When the father called Saif alone and the girls were smiling, I thought that either he'll make a fool of himself while lying or he'll be so scared that he'll spill the entire truth. However, he was calm, composed, and convincing while telling what the told to the extent that I thought that he was actually telling the truth. I guess, though he desires that somehow this marriage stops and he could marry his girlfriend, but he's also well aware of the fact that it will never happen. Neither his mother will accept her, nor does he'll ever go against his mother's wishes. So, in his mind, he has accepted this marriage. In this aspect, he's actually a male version of Samiya as both have fully accepted marrying the persons they have no desire to marry just for the sake of their mothers' happiness.
