While todays episode didn’t have much progress in Samiya’s wedding track, I did like it. Many funny scenes esp with the soup and Phuppo / Thanvi 🤣
Good I'll watch it then, I saw next episode's promo about Samiya *yawn* and thought to skip it. At this point, I can't even blame Saif's family, Samiya and Shammo are on a murder/suicide mission

the story is so slow for a one episode a week show..
soup scene was funny lol...puppo and thanvi flirting at an older age wala scene was funny too...though samia's wedding track is bit too stretched...i do wish it gets a proper closure...saif is completely mom's boy...it would be a surprise if shammo herself stops this wedding if she gives an ounce of thought about samia since samia is just wanting to please shammo at this point...shammo drinking tanya and aliya's soup and her father's reaction like that was more naturally shot than what she does on a daily basis esp with samia's wedding...While todays episode didn’t have much progress in Samiya’s wedding track, I did like it. For me it’s more languid than slow. Because honestly, it’s not boring at all. For some reason, I tots relate to the show. I just love it..it gets me into my most comfy mood..chadhar odhake, Sunday afternoon cup of coffee ke saath I sit and watch the episode…I enjoy every turn, every expression, every emotion. Like reading a book with turned up pages and thoda sa musty …
There is something very very deep in the writing of this show. Among many things, it is also asking us to examine what it means to be “good” children, so many parents just want “good” children, who will listen to them. Daughters becoming shadows of their mothers at the cost of their own agency and Sons becoming spineless at the cost of being easily manipulated.
Of course our urban and modern upbringing will say that Samiya has to be stupid to go ahead with the wedding, but she believes or has been made to believe she has no choice by the one person who she wants to keep happy. If the wedding goes ahead, it’s not only unfortunate for her, but it’s also unfortunate for us as a society that has placed so much importance on marriage as a necessary milestone of life.
