My parent's got married in an auditorium and that was like 30+ yrs ago. It's hard for car parking and to accomodate that many people inside a temple. Most kudumbashktrems are small and big temples have security issues along with high number of people coming to pray. It's hard to control that many people. Also we have this particular time where a lot of marriages happen. August-september are literally marriage seasons. So it's hard to get temples for the exact muhurtam time for that many weddings. Then temples won't have waiting rooms or green rooms for the bride to get ready and wait.

My parents got married in a mandir 25 years ago The same mandir where everyone in my family go and get married we have our ancestral home near the temple wahi par we get ready and perform the rituals it near kangulam near kochi you can get a local temple if you have contacts easily and can welcome groom and his family very easily it managable
