Most of the weddings In my family took place in local temples sure the culture is dying slowly but nothing can replace the traditional kalyanum in my area ppl usually get married in the temples and have reception outside in some auditorium
It sad that we are adding too much northern/ punjabi flavour in our weddings even the traditional food served with hands are rare nowadays, in urban area ppl usually go with buffets
Buffets are only there for receptions. I have never went to a Kerala hindu wedding where there is no sadya. People will literally throw chappals if there is no sadya 😆its the only reason i go to weddings of people i barely know😎I guess most people choose auditoriums for convinence. My parent's got married in an auditorium and that was like 30+ yrs ago. It's hard for car parking and to accomodate that many people inside a temple. Most kudumbashktrems are small and big temples have security issues along with high number of people coming to pray. It's hard to control that many people. Also we have this particular time where a lot of marriages happen. August-september are literally marriage seasons. So it's hard to get temples for the exact muhurtam time for that many weddings. Then temples won't have waiting rooms or green rooms for the bride to get ready and wait.
Madhu in the scene seriously Murtasim’s sneezing and coughing was highlight ! I was like wow Wahaj this was very natural acting ! His sneezing and cough looked very real.
but I wish kitchen scene had close up shots ! It was like instead of maintaining distance between them director was maintaining distance from them.
