Aaliya didn't feel angry or irritated when phupho was teasing her with Salman and she stayed quite when phupho said salman is cute and handsome like she agrees as well😳. That's not the reaction we expect from a girl that hates the guy😉

Phupho is the second official shipper of Salman-aaliya after his mother😆 she purposefully sent Aliya with Salman to the hospital instead of Tanya.

Salman’s love for her family esp when he said Aghaji, phupo and Tanya ….he really was speaking my language…it’s almost like we wanted him to add Aliya but she was too afraid to even ask..that smile they share….uff

His loose shirt can be my dress😆. It's that long.

We all know why salman is so much in love with "her family". Ladki ko patana ho toh pehle family ko patao😆

the way she stayed silent when phupho teased her with Salman indicates aag dono taraf lagi hai😉

I like that the drama shows all perspective. Like how phupho told why her mother is the way she is. Having 3 daughters in a conservative society is a lot and people won't miss a single chance to taunt about it and it's mostly the mother that will have to hear everything. Also if i am not wrong their mother is the eldest bhahu of the family. They are usually under a lot of pressure to be the most responsible one. For someone like her 'log kya kahenge' precedes everything else.

But still, does she think a divorced or a one living in hell os better than an unmarried one?

Agree that Samia track needs to speed up now. If she still gets married to him after all that’s happened and all they know it’s gonna be such as waste of episodes. Loved the scenes between Phuppo and Aaliyah teasing each other.

On a plus note, we will have Phuppo / Thanvi scene next week from the initial teasers 😆

I agree about 3 daughters taunt ... It is sooo common even in India... N then if the daughter doesn't get married it is even more mental torture for parents... I think the mom genuinely feels the boy can start a good life with saniya... This isn't some random rista.. They are relatives

Well, I actually know quite a few women who stayed single. Mostly due to circumstances, and some by choice. However, all of them live with their families. Hence, staying unmarried is not something strange, but a single woman living alone is not a norm, at least in the middle class.

I guess the mother is on the false hope that since it's her sister and nephew she will have a say on samiya even after marriage.

so there is a sociologist called Kay Trimberger who has written extensively on single women. There is an amazing book by her called the new single woman. She did an analysis of single women in India vs single women in the US. In her short write up, she talks of many many things. I wanted to post this link here. I am actually more interested in reading the Indian women authors she mentions here, who I will go and check out.

I just posted this link because it all really got me thinking and I went deep digging to look for expert understanding on this. I am a single woman myself, now in my 30s, by choice. My first fiancé in my early twenties I lost to an accident and the second man who came in my life, I rejected when he proposed. I have been earning money since my 20s. I am financially very very independent. I grew up partly in a joint family because of a single mom. We grew up with immense agency. I love this show because it’s beautifully written. But it speaks about aspects of feminism that needs to be looked at from various angles.
