That is exactly my point this is more like an arranged marriage after they like each other ..his emotions are more and genuine and he believes it as probably the beginning of love. So what is there to laugh about in his feelings I don’t understand but one thing I understand he comes into this marriage with Sahiba with the baggage of having lost his first love as the feelings were genuine from his side and that maybe is what is troubling some and who are we to judge if he thinks seerat is beautiful. To him she may be more beautiful than Sahiba and that his prerogative.

To Angad, the romantic toll is going to be higher - as everyone pointed out in an arranged marriage the early infatuation is pretty strong ( married for 10 years now, so believe me I know) and that is an essential part of the joy of beginning of a married life. To begin that life with someone you dislike - or in Angad's word's hate - so strongly and whom you consider almost a criminal , that must be akin to walking on nails barefoot and in return he is going to lash out at Sahiba.

For Sahiba, it's the loss of her independence - let's face it most of us from Indian diaspora kind of expect restrictions after marriage. Some of us are blessed enough to marry into families who are learning progressive thoughts, others not so much. Sahiba is seeing her dreams shattering in front of her eyes aided by her ow people. For an independent person - that is extremely painful.

Exactly, for angad it will take a time to understand that love never comes so easily or happens. Today for the person he is shedding tears in future he will realise what a fake beauty she was. And I agree with you regarding Sahiba case, first if all she is going to become older bahu and that means a big responsibility and she never thought to marry here she is going to be burden with responsibility and leave her career for the family. Plus a marriage without love and respect. If your husband is your enemy any woman won't live in that house. Plus whatever santosh and seerat did, she will never see them again as she used to be. She didn't hug her mom today( I guess). For a girl who always wanted love from her mom, she did the biggest sacrifices. Just like for angad darji order is the last for her Santosh . Both needs to get out from this order. Their development from enemies to love will be beautiful only if we all forget that deception is ended.

Santosh will repent so seerat. But now angsa will have to fight together not as enemies to the problems coming in their way.

As a human being, realizing that we are all capable and most likely are toxic in one way or another takes a good amount of self reflection. Let's hope we get to see that at least.

I don't think she is mahan ... Her dialogues was as per the situation.
