I liked the episode because we get the peek into 3 main characters and their mental status.
Virat:
Virat's outburst, or concern for Sai has been the same since the beginning. Compare his outburst and concern, look at his frown when he gets worried for her. They were the same when we saw him post leap defending her from GR's goons. Today also he was outraged that Kamble misbehaved with her. Only difference is, at that time he didnt spill his love in his words. Anger, hurt and a lot of questions stopped him. Now there is no burden on his heart to restrain him. The only thing stopping him from expressing himself more directly is Sai herself and SOMETHING else, definitely not his marriage or Pakhi :)
Virat is ignoring Pakhi after church confession. We have to believe what Pakhi says here. What she is feeling is what Virat is doing with her. He is ignoring her. Why? Again, if you see Virat as a guy who is utterly selfish or dumb or good for nothing then it seems like he is this 2 timing guy for whom Pakhi doesnt matter anymore. But if you see him as someone from before, who TOLERATED Pakhi, protected her and her honor when he himself was struggling to make a place in Sai's heart, then you will understand he might have some reason. Also, in deal phase when did Virat washed off his hands with Pakhi slowly? When Samrat came back. May be same thing is happening here. He decided to be with Sai after her breakdown? And kind of given Pakhi's responsibility to BK? (I mean he has come to understand that BK is supporting him in some way?). To make it more clearer, I will bring attention to parallels which writers always present us with.
What do you all think BK is doing now? IMO BK is making Pakhi see the reality and hope that she will back off from the sham marriage. The more Virat follows his heart, ANY SANE woman with self respect will back off. BK will back off too. While she will not discard Pakhi, she will make sure Pakhi is sent with her honor intact. She will be taken care of by them.
Virat is also exactly waiting for this. He made a choice. He is not a TEENAGER to fall behind Sai without any CONTROL. The guy has all the control in him. He didnt TELL his feelings to Sai till he believed Sai has similar feelings for him. Now this guy seems like losing control. Why? Because he made a choice on what he wants. What happens to Pakhi? Didnt he aske her to get a life today? Stop making me and Sai your world, go get a life. Thats exactly what he is doing. How is it wrong when BK is doing the same thing? It is wrong because he is the husband who willingly entered in the marriage with her. But the caveat here is the marriage is condition based. Now he wants to break it, but he cant because he made EXTRA vows the other day. The only way he can come out of it is Pakhi should leave him, with her head held high. He will be the bad half in the marriage. This Virat sticks to the one we have seen before. What doesnt stick is how can he THROW away the woman who did SO MUCH EHSAAN on him? To understand this we need to wait more.
Virat is not a guy who can cheat this publicly. He is not the man who lies through his teeth. Not with the woman who did so much ehsaan on him. So only way to tolerate him is to believe what he says and give him BoD. Not to try to fit him into someone who doesnt have control on his own actions and thoughts.
Sai: Sai will be more stricter with Virat now, in her words because she is a smart woman who knows she will be MUed as 3rd person. See how she understood Ashwini's gestures so naturally. Sai will be extra harsh on Virat. She will push him away with her words. Though her emotions might spill out now and then, she will draw the lines. She loves him so she gets effected, but she will not cross the line. There is a marriage she sees!
Pakhi: Pakhi's words with Virat are always the absolute truth. Thats how the plots are written from the begining. If you want to know what VIrat is feelings for Sai, it has to come out of Pakhi's mouth. Today when she said you are behaving like a teenager. Didnt I say yesterday he did behave like a teenager? He is behaving as if a man in love for the first time. Because he decided to let lose of his emotions, without any guard. He keeps thinking of Sai, even in office though he denies it. He was flushed with emotions when he saw her drying her hair. And how he wrapped himself up in his wife's saree lovingly. What is he denying? and why is he denying them? HE HAS TO. There are compulsions why he behaves this way with Pakhi.
Now, why is Pakhi staying with such a guy? She has to leave. Get a life like Virat said. That is what BK and Virat are waiting for.
However, Pakhi has HUGE Karma to repay. The honor that Virat and BK will be trying to protect will be destroyed by herself with her own actions. She will get to a place where everyone will hate her for her behavior. And everyone will see Virat going to Sai, as a consequence of Pakhi's behavior. :D Being regressive kind of people, they will justify VIrat going to Sai. Because Pakhi is being this mean wife who suspects his husband of adultry. :D That is what is written in Pakhi's fate I guess. She could have chosen to leave the marriage with her head held high, which BK will expect her to. But she will be asked to leave after falling into disgrace. That is her Karma.
Long story short, if you see Virat is doing it on purpose there is SOME sense to this mess.
Virat has done innumerable mistakes, surrogacy is the biggest. But he is also the man Sai fell in love with and who Sai admires. So he deserves BoD as Sai's man. May be he is not a 2 timer, may be he is forced to be a 2 timer because of some compulsion 😃. Indirect narrative is just that. It is not about fake marriage or pakhi's mental illness. It is about seeing Virat like how he is made! Otherwise, the more your curvefit Virat to someone he is not, you will not understand the plot. My 2 cents.
PS: We should atleast believe in KJ, the whitest character who is a diehard dead fan of Virat sir. 🤣
