One thing remains consistent for Virat. He always supports Pakhi when he is at loggerheads with Sai. Remember that Amey fight, he went screaming Pakhi...into her room.

When he makes up, he sees Pakhi through her manipulation/ games and starts ignoring her. Which is what he is doing now. Even ignoring the fact that she is suicidal.

This time, Sai needs his full support against his family, not because she is an abla naari or whatever😳. In fact it would a bonus if she gets the chance to move on.

For Virat, things are now slowly reaching a head where his entire family is watching this, just like the good old times before the leap. Now he has that much more of a duty to be faithful to one person. And logically it has to be Pakhi. As of now, he doesn't regret marrying Pakhi! Doesn't regret choosing Pakhi over Sai. Noone does. Even Sai doesn’t blame P for tuning her life. She could have told Ashwini that P is the one who schemed & succeeded breaking her sons home Vinu & Virat were Sais & P is the one who has snatched them from her. She can keep Virat but Sai is going to just take her Vinu back. You are one shameless lady who has guts to support a home breaker & begging for her in front of someone she has wronged

The regret is there. The problem is that the scenes that showcase anything on indirect narrative are minimal and very subtle. He very clearly told P that he regrets bailing her out. Now the difference is at that point, the circumstances favoured him wrt choices. It was him who made the wrong decision that he regrets now. Now when he wants to correct his mistake the situation is not in his favour. Unlike preleap his choices are more driven by the situation than himself.

And he is paying the price of making that wrong decision.

This is why P has to turn up negative or commit some crime to turn all this ehsaan down. Till then everyone will be indebted to her. V for saving him and the family for saving their chirag and chirag ka chirag
