Yea! Agree with what you said. That heartbreak she has that he chose pakhi after all that happened!!! It is a huge heartbreak. That’s why I think just being celibate will not melt her… he has to show she is important to him than anyone else!!

What I think lately is that sai knows virat didn’t move on with pakhi after picnic accident. The vows freaked her out. Later seeing pakhi’s situation she would have also understood virat would not have consummated with her. Somewhere she knows he is a celibate without her. Still she will not accept him because for her I think his emotional involvement has been the problem always.

See how she accuses him of understanding pakhi’s mamta but not hers. How he supports her every time and picks pakhi over her. It is like pre leap only. She might think he didn’t change a bit after she is gone. He still takes pakhi’s side, now more because she is his wife.

Ultimately his celibacy is just a cherry on cake for sai. He is celibate which gives her some comfort but that is not enough for her! What mattered to her always, even when they had healthy and active sex life was that he didn’t support her when needed. So if virat gives back vinu to her, she will melt for him. She knows he misses her physically so she might be okay with his closeness. Though she might not let him cross the line?? Tomorrow if pakhi accuses her of seducing him which she already did multiple times during pani puri date also, sai will not get offended. But if Virat supports her and puts pakhi down, it will melt her more.

Bottom line is proving celibacy is not a big deal, sai might already know he is celibate. No one will consummate with a bleeding from stitches kind of a lady. And she knew after picnic that virat loved her always. The vows are the major setback to her. His involvement with her. How will he prove to sai that there were no emotions involved when he is sharing his space and time with pakhi?

To understand my point better, contrast it with virat himslef. He was agitated that sai slept with another guy. He didn’t see a man lingering around sai. She doesn’t have anyone with her. But the thought of her sleeping with another man who could be savi’s father troubled him more. Once he found savi is his daughter, he understood easily sai never cheated him. Or have such feelings for anyone. But how can sai be sure, even if she know he is celibate?

For sai it is his emotional infedility that freaks her. Now that he is married, he is emotionally involved with pakhi. How will he prove her his love? Only way is to prioritize her at every step. Show her that she comes first!!! Right?

It is hard to clearly put out my thoughts on this! The summary is virat’s celibacy doesn’t matter to sai anymore. She might Already know he is celibate. What matters is his emotional investment in pakhi!

Sai’s major issue was and I feel still is - Virat chose Paki over her and even married the same woman who destroyed their lives.

She expressed that a few times to both Paki and Virat.

When Sairat had that crying session in the cafe when he cried and apologized to her , she was a little relieved but I don’t think she has forgiven him or forgotten everything.

As it is, his apology was about letting her go (that was a huge issue for her) but has never apologized for marrying Paki ( Don’t think Sai is aware of “married for adoption” thingy yet)

Sai is also mad that he didn’t look for her and left her alone. That has given her a lot of pain , which came out in that trance-break down scene.

She said “mein akeli nahin rehna chahti, tum ne mujhe chod diya”

Virat heard it but Sai doesn’t know she said that.

Thats her actual vulnerability that came out for the first time.

Once he came to know of it, he melted like ice on a hot summer day. He got clarity

Since then Virat has been on a high-

church confession, taking care of Sai, his urge to have a happy family and now even open flirting and ogling.

While Sai is still hurt because she still hasn’t received the full validation from Virat.

I don’t know if she is hoping for it because they haven’t shown that yet.

Her melting now is not for Virat but for Savi & Vinu’s Baba.

He is supporting her to win Vinu’s love & acceptance , which she is longing for.

She is able to see that Virat is physically getting affected by her proximity and she has some idea that Virat and Paki has a “naam ka rishta” .

And Sai will not be responsible for breaking Pakrat’s marriage. Didi herself will do that.

Sai is not even in that mindspace.

Her priority is just the happiness of her kids.

For Vinu’s happiness, she is even willing to let him stay with Paki

Even after all the damage done so far, makers still have a chance to redeem Virat and salvage the show. But they are still hell bent on destroying Virat further.

This is my main beef with the makers.

Its already too late . At least now they should dig out of the dark tunnel they have taken Virat into!🤦🏻‍♀️

Keeping the triangle alive doesn’t serve any purpose anymore.

It has overstayed itself and viewers are bored and don’t care any more.

Its now Vanku’s call.

ending will be like that only .. she just takes him back .. not because she forgives him or anything . She had already told him when ever you fail me I break .. and the part which comes back is lesser than before

So it was just TINA factor .. she will accept him back because of the welfare of the kids .. and stop expecting anything much from him

This is something I feel should happen the least.

Especially with nadi k kinare dialogue. Sai agree to parent kids with him n portray happy family hut their intimacy may be lost.

Virat has done way too much damage to easily be forgiven n given everything back

If we go by direct narrative, there was emotional involvement with Pakhi - how much or how significant..we can't tell..but there was...even though Virat was not over Sai.

But I doubt if makers are serious about the concept of "emotional fidelity". For them no sex = loyalty.

If we go by that logic, for Sai....the one thing she has lost in Virat is trust. And it has suffered such a huge blow. Sai's trust has been broken so many times - the surrogacy procedure, supporting Pakhi in her blackmailing during pregnancy, bailing Pakhi out, marrying Pakhi, hiding Vinu's truth from Sai - in all this he chose Pakhi over her. Her feelings, her pain were invisible to him. I am unsure as of now what she makes out of all this - whether she perceives it as love or just her de-prioritization...but one thing is clear - her trust ahs been badly broken ...time after time. So unless he gains that trust back, Sai won't budge. Even then, she may not get back to him because of the relationship he had with Pakhi - as a wife,she will be sensitive...will never want to destroys another person's home.

I think most people did pretty much say what I wanted to but I’ll share my thoughts as well.

- I think from word go Sai was always aware of the presence of this third element in her and Virat’s life and never sadly could get that out of her mind. And Virat also never tried to do anything to prove her wrong, at times when he had to assure her, he went and confessed his feelings for Sai in front of Pakhi boldly but never clarified or categorically stated to Sai that Pakhi stopped existing between the two of them. Had he used the same energy to opposite places things would have been diff for the couple i . e ignoring Pakhi and her overt gestures openly and boldly telling in front of the world that Pakhi was a closed chapter in his life and she is all that mattered. All his assurances to her were in private that too in a very unconvincing manner while his support towards Pakhi was always out in the open in front of the family ! So why would Sai, ever want to gain that faith- with time though she fell in love with him she learnt to love with despite the presence of Pakhi, making her own place , hoping deep down inside that when the time comes her partner would bestow her the respect she deserves ! Unfortunately that never happened so Sai never really got a chance to believe or think she was ever no 1 in his life.

- when she returned after the leap as well though she was shown extremely hurt that Virat had moved on; never bothered looking for her or even married Pakhi IMO it was hurtful but never shocking or surprising, because her worst fears had only come true, the times when she screamed her lungs out and said to him that she knew he would side Pakhi didi, he should admit his feelings for Pakhi didi, the times when she said Virat May have been upset that Samrat came in between Virat and Pakhi and he was upset, though Virat was upset she was over reacting, his subsequent actions only went on to point towards her logical deduction that she was always right about her assumption when it came to Pakhi and Virat. Like Virat was her first love, in her head Pakhi was Virat’s first and if he took this decision it was not totally unexpected but it was heartbreaking to know her subsequently being in his life perhaps held no significance in his life. That’s why she became cold and detached towards him because she was upset with herself for loving a man so much when he couldn’t return her love in the same magnanimity.

As far as her knowing about them consummating their marriage, I don’t think it really mattered to Sai so much then nor does it now because like everyone else here is saying physical consummation hardly could erase the insults and accusations and rock solid support he gave to Pakhi during all times when he should have actually been with Sai. Even if he decided to support his family and it’s honour before the leap and stand by PL despite all the proofs against her and Sai begging him to see reason, after knowing she was dead, he didn’t do anything to show his solidarity to Sai. It became evident to Sai once again that even her death didn’t evoke enough love in him, in wanting to see all the wrong she had committed. Had he really been right he would have married PL for Vinu, but continued to punish her for Sai leaving the house and subsequently dying. Instead he married her, and continued to have a happy life with her, and even after Sai returned he went out of his way to show how he was not just grateful to PL for standing by him all those years he would never leave her no matter what.

When she broke down in front of him two times once in the cafe and once in a state of trance, she never meant for him to come back to her. She was simply venting because she didn’t have anyone else to share her feelings with and it just meant her letting off some steam , while to Virat those two meltdowns gave me clarity about the pain he put her through and guilt of making the mistake he had committed. That’s why he softened towards her after seeing her emotional state, because knew and very well knows he is solely responsible for her being in the condition she is today while he is still in a happier space. He continues to be mild on PL citing mental health as a reason, because in his head he is this mahaan being who is born to endure pain at the cost of his happiness. But Sai constantly bursts that bubble for him by making him time and again realise, his actions have taken her far away from him, she will not show externally that him being seen with his wife will effect her- though he very well knows her feelings as she admitted them herself in her unconscious state. His ego isn’t ready to accept that a woman he is so drawn to and is so madly in love with will not openly admit she wants to be with him, instead she reminds him time and again that it was he who ruined their relationship and he will never be loyal to her - and she is aware of it. In that sense the presence of Sai is still a challenge in his life because he is with a woman who loves him and wants him but he doesn’t want her, for the want of being with a woman who he left himself and now when he doesn’t want her to think badly of him, she is maintaining a I don’t care attitude towards him. That’s why he time and again tries to remind her of the past hoping she will melt, but she shows him if she is around him it is because of the children that bind them.

However very soon there will come a time when he will want her to love him the way he loves her and he will want to be the right man in her life; and do the right things by perhaps going out of his comfort space and taking a few calls as heart wants it as opposed to it being his duty or responsibility. He is almost there, but Sai has moved far far away, and that is the biggest challenge in front of him. If they reconcile and it is for the sake of the kids it will be just like him

Marrying Pakhi for Vinu, and Virat surely wants more than that from his union with Sai. He is a weak and imperfect man working towards finding a comfort zone without ruffling too many feathers but this time he has to face his karma head on and Sai won’t let him have it easy either !

This is serial not reality to flip sai only v s one accident needed and she forget everything

Still putting out a few more based on recent episodes.

I feel Sai will accept V for the sake of kids... as their father but not as husband or lover for a long time.

They are showing her accommodating him for either Saavi or Vinu's sake... so much that she has moved into CN in spite of suffering so much and vowing not to return. Also she is cordial to V... they do slip into familiar territory once in a while but its mostly on V's prodding.

Anyway, theirs wasn't a clean break up and there are lot of residual feelings. It is bound to come up, especially when talking about kids.

The other thing that you mentioned is the celibacy... Till the accident, she heard it from many, including BK... there was an eye contact initiated by V when BK accused him of ignoring P when she was missing.

Sai probably knows V was celibate till that point.

But then came the HM and pheras.... V doesn't know yet Sai saw it... but P has shown it to her. Sai imagined them getting cozy and post that there has been no mention of physical intimacy of VP.

Sai is still influenced by P in one way or another... P knows how to push which buttons... so as per your original theory... only P vouching for celibacy will convince Sai I feel ...

More importantly and it may trouble you and other SaiRat fans... I don't think we will get a proper apology from V.... BK might ask for forgiveness even ... but not V.... Vanku has never made V apologize to her honestly... it is always laced with regret. It is never for repentance.

V will gain forgiveness through his actions... bringing back Vinu and Sai together and Sai will forgive just based on this. In other words, white wash or doormat behaviour like few people term it.

As for accepting him, she will be pressurized by kids and BK, they know her soft spot is kids... kids making her forgive V, get back with him will be the solution. It may also happen that kids will start hating V, Sai wont be able to tolerate that as thats not her upbringing... so in order to create a good impression for their father, Sai will be made to be extra casual and soft on V... advocating for him in public.

Sai V may then go back to deal phase again in priavte and V will struggle to break that ice. If Vanku is intent on keeping P alive and in CN, they may then make her truly positive but Sai would be too hurt to accept V wholeheartedly, dragging the situation for few more days.

I hope I am proved wrong on the P part and that she is redundant by the end of this. Have had too much of her. 😔

This might seem depressing but I am not keeping high hopes on V's redemption and repentance...

If like you say, this is broadly Ujanpur... then maybe something worthwhile will happen.

That's a very comforting prediction. At this point, if Sai accepts him for the sake of her kids...but not as a husband, that itself is a too-good-to-be-true scenario.

BTW, Virat has been harping that "I could not be a husband to P" during Vinu track...he said that twice. I'm not sure, but P may have given out hints too..in her state of outrage...did she?
