Yes trolling can and should not be tolerated. Similarly you cannot forget your own actions and words that causes it.
Also it’s not like only one person gets trolled, it’s the person who makes the most noise about that troll gets noticed. We think others are only loved.
I feel everyone should be part of those corporate jobs once where they had clauses of why spouses cannot work in same team. Also some companies don’t even allow them to work on same company.
Alas, it’s always how you behave ultimately matters, what are your word of choices. Consider this there are gazillion human beings so there will always be gazillion opinions!
Agree 💯
Anyone who has done trainings on unconscious biases will understand. Why corporate policy of no spouses on same team/project makes sense.
In acting its even more difficult to be unbiased cause you are enacting a fictional situation but you see the person you love in that situation n its hard to not be yourself.
There is this nice IV of Ravi- Sargun Ka husband, after her song release where the story is the girl goes crazy and is destroyed in love for a man.
He said he couldn’t see that last but n threw away phone. He very nicely explained that how he can never take his wife’s face out of that scene. He is in industry n has worked n seen lot of qork but at some point he as a husband could not see that.
Having said that, there are many who have managed to play different characters despite being married. But most kept their relationship low key till show ended.
Point being- as soon as personal equation starts affecting the work- its time to step back. Mostly onus is on employer n then on employee- if it affects their relationship or mental health.
However in Ghum they seem to have milked out of this conflict. All are benefiting from this drama. Couple got to do a whole show. Cried victim n got more clout for Ghum. Sai character gets lost of love sympathy on n off screen. So it seems they r using it to their advantage.
Its just that its may be hard as audience to accept that people in creative field would prioritize benefit over audience satisfaction- but these days everything is business. If it generates number n money - nothing is off the table for them.
