Nehmat's Identity

Nehamt identifies herself as Nehmat Sandhu Virk, Fatejo's daughter. However, the audience knows Nehmat is not related to Sandhus or Virks.  As per the show, Fatejo knew Jasmine did not give birth to Nehmat and was aware that her biological father is in prison. Also, they did not inform Nehmat's biological father about her birth. 

Logically when a child is adopted his or her biological parent's consent is necessary. So how did Fatejo adopt Nehmat? Did they register Nehmat as Jasmine and Amrik's daughter and brought her up forgoing the legal adoption procedure? Let's discuss

As the audience, we always try to find logic in the story. But the writers really don't give much thought to it. 

Furthermore, I guess the new entries are brought in just to add twists and turns to the story, because the CV's have nothing much to explore in the Ekam-Nehmat relationship😆

ITV ka funda hai. If a couple is shown happy and in love at the beginning of the show, it's guaranteed they aren't getting married!!! 🤣
