I agree with this .. but not when it comes to Ranbir and Alia. I could care less about their equality and access.
Have you tried caring lesser, like caring less and less till you couldn't care less anymore?

Also it’s hilarious with the left/right political spectrum reversal here.. like so called “liberal” “left leaning” celebs in India talk about eating beef and steak like they’re sticking it to those right wingers ..
Genuinely baffled. How does beef eating flip the political spectrum?

I think because vegetarians in the West lean left.

For all you know, this was funded by the makers to create controversy before the film’s release 🤨 Seen it too many times to find this gate keeping believable.
I also find the hypocrisy jarring that all these people standing up for the rights of cows, do not care about the sub standard treatment cattle gets in India. They are heavily abused for dairy, injected with hormones and artificially inseminated, and when their bodies finally give up, the cows are sold to the beef industry both within India and abroad. It’s sickening how people use religion for their own ends, while abusing the very animals they pretend to protect.
If it was PR stunt, it deffo worked on me. 😆 I'm not at all a fan of RK or Alia. They're average actors hyped to the sky by their relatives in Bollywood. And I'm even thinking of booking a ticket in the hope of sticking it to the boycott bots.
This kind of a stunt seems to be a favourite with movie makers of big budget films. It creates a daily buzz online, and gets free coverage in newspapers 🤭
I have already booked my ticket for Sunday 😆 I don’t like either of them IRL, but I find Alia really solid in the acting department. Ranbir seems to be faltering as per the trailers, but I am primarily going for the content. Mythology is my favourite genre and no trolling will make me boycott it 😛

Ah yes, that perception is there. It annoys me. While it is true that most vegans (in the west) tend to be hippy-dippy liberals, leaning-left has no dietary restrictions. Those darn liberals in LA and Seattle with their avocado toast, chia pudding, and plant protein smoothie ruin it for the rest of us who just want more crispy bacon. 😆
There are also right-wing vegan shamans who will participate in an insurrection for right-wing ideology. So what does diet mean anymore?

I've thought about being vegetarian. The urge usually dissipates by lunchtime.

It worked on me. Dharma has been supporting talents I really like in recent times like Tripti, Diljit, and Vicky Kaushal. It is only fair I support them as well. Ammy is not an amazing actor. He is in fact pretty average acting wise and just has a strong screen presence. But I am glad that they supported someone who also wears a turban. I just bought a ticket. I am going today. I will not be openly supporting it until I know it is a good film. But this is more than enough support for Dharma for supporting some outside talent I like.
On the downside, they are still supporting actors who fail to entertain me the least bit. So medium support is good enough I guess. LOL! 😂
