On the contrary, think Mohan is more stable than ever. Finally lets himself feel something, started to get rid of some of his past wounds. Not easy to let the hate go and sing for Gungun but did it cause he loves her more than he's frustrated about what happened with Tulsi. And being kind and grateful with R doesn't make him lose his integrity;would have been out of character to ignore the times she helped Gungun&him.
About devotion, that's misused or better said overused in real life too. When people can see and call other humans as gods or idols and ignore the normal mistakes each one has in his baggage then why not in a fiction?? True that R used that devotion as excuse too many times and now is Mohan's turn to see her as something divine but why is this done? To avoid a human relation starting too soon between someone who already had a first love and a fruit after it and someone without idea about what love really means.
