Wait... I never downplayed the popularity of TKF? I am actually saying TKF got a lot of popularity but Jogi won't because it is based on the Sikh community who are a minority not too favoured by the current government. I am not hoping anything, I've lost all my hopes concerning Indian audience. I said I hope it does justice to the horror my community faced.

Wait... I never downplayed the popularity of TKF? I am actually saying TKF got a lot of popularity but Jogi won't because it is based on the Sikh community who are a minority not too favoured by the current government. Exactly I know nothing about genocide through school book it's like this doesn't even happened. Whole Punjab suffers so much being a border state. Sikhs are one of the most patriot community ik about. It's ridiculous how no one address their sufferings but instead blames them for something they are victim's of.

Present government lost all my trust with the handling of farmers protest i mean you can remove Article 370 , build ram Mandir but can't handle one single protest, can't stop media from spilling filth about a community with their oh-so effective it cell.....it now feels like they are intentionally polarizing hindus and Sikhs

I don't think I will be watching this movie. Machis was horrifying and heartbreaking enough - this is lived history for a lot of people.

I see Bhindrawale being eulogised on this thread and for me he is no saint. Many innocent Hindu's were gunned down in those horrid years by Sikh terrorists and I don't think we should be denying or whitewashing our history like the BJP or the Congressi apologists do.
