Please don't tell me you don't believe that TKF got BJP's support mainly because of Anupam Kher?
Why hasn't any film made on Kashmir gotten this much hype? VVC has made one. We had Haider, which is a million times better.
TKF isn't a bad film, but it's maker and one party used it as their propaganda against Bollywood and a few celebs. This is what is not right.
VVC made a movie and romanticized KP Genocide. To kaun dekhta?
From everyone that have seen TKF, they feel it talks about what actually happened.
BJP could have supported the movie for their vote bank politics. That doesn’t take away from the movie itself. Movie talks about a genocide and it resonated with people. Itne sare log koi bjp ki vajeh se nai gaye dekhne.
I grew up in India of those times and KPs were never discussed mainstream. I got to know about KP exodus much later. There was a very sweet member here mini who was KP. During my conversation with her I got to know details and I did some reading.
TKF brought the genocide to forefront. That’s the reason of its success. It showed what happened without sugarcoating and without monkey balancing. Isi baat se mirchi lagi hai sabko.
This whole anti Bollywood trends that I see, I see majorly Sushant fans trending those everyday. I could be wrong but that’s what I gather. Some other people fuel the fire on the side.
Anyways, this topic isn’t about TKF. It’s about Jogi. I hope Jogi finds its audience.
Tum log apna chalu rakho.
