According to this clip, finale already recorded 😆

The trophy I think matches what was revealed in Neha Kakkar episode. Wonder if they based the winner on last weeks voting where Mani was leading.
not fair to others if this is true. Let’s see. Now we have this pic to compare to the actual grand finale and we will know if it was prerecorded or not.
Mani’s outfit is too similar to what PD wore for II12 finale!

PS: upon second review it is definitely morphed! The outfit and hands are PD’s! Somebody did a good job of morphing this pic 😀

If it’s true, then as I said above- on sympathy votes, not his voice.

Then show should be renamed and the word “Singer” removed

If by chance mani wins, then: a. It will be due to his garibi sympathy card. b. Singing wise not fair on other contestants who are better than his singing.

It’s a singing contest, so a ‘singer” should be given a trophy, not on poverty which is thrown at us in every episode.

Shouting is the current theme in bollywood. The effort others put to learn sur, loi, taal, raaga etc. are no longer considered as important. Just be poor or have some other sad story - you are all set.

Garibi theme, or some sad theme is what everybody talks about. Real singers are thrown around like useless.

I agree that they should rename the show. "Kal ki Gareeb". Mani is not only lesser singer than the top three of your choice, he forgot lyrics twice in this show. I have seen contestant shown the door, as they had forget lyrics, in other reality shows.

Your PS is exactly what I noticed as soon as I saw the thumbnail of the video. That is Pawandeep's right hand thumb - very characteristic angle. For somebody who has followed him as much as I do, that is the first and most obvious thing to notice.

Ind Vs Pak Asia Cup match going on. SS2's TRP will be affected.
