Which us also an opportunity that how she is able to balance so many roles and do so, really well. She is reasonable, responsible and skilled. Despite her relatively lesser experience, she has grown to make a place of her own. She knows when to yield to her instincts and step back.

Haan, along with the fact that even though she has a reputation of being brash and violent, she can be calculative as well, which is essential to being a commando.

Context- [About festival celebration in academy]

You are right.

Festivals me we have seen some being celebrated na, like Deepawali. Honestly, not sure.

But I guess, celebrating Holidays may be a good alternative to terming them Festival Celebrations.

Main soch rahi thi maybe, they have the minimal formality of making traditional food like Chhole-Puri, Kheer, jo har ghar par Diwali mein banti hai. Woh yeh log Eid, Christmas etc. mein bhi kar sakte hain because it's not that big of an effort.

Baaki, they allow the people to celebrate on their own will- kisi ko apne kamre mein diye jalaane hai, ya pooja karni hai ya jo bhi sabke ghar par ritual hote hain- but throwing a PARTY on Diwali from the side of the academy... hota hai kya yeh? Ya nahi? Mujhe nahi pata.

Yes, that is the correct way to think, but when there are a 100 people such things do happen.

Generally, trainers, managers distance themselves knowingly because there is bound to be such inferences. Like my brother and I do not prefer to be on the same team because there would always be an element of sub-conscious biases.

It may not be among the 7 friends but that may not be universally true.

Government Jobs me bhi agar sahakarmi relation me hote hain toh they are transferred.

Pehli, thodi creative liberty leni padegi ab mujhe, warna toh kuchh bhi aage nahi chalega. 😆Aise toh Koel-Faizi ke relationship mein dono alag alag jagah post ho jaayenge, ya Karan-Param can never work together, or even Karan can't work under Colonel Batra. Par ab thodi creative liberty toh leni hi padegi.

Doosri, I think aisi biases aati hongi when you're talking about working in such a close environment [they live, work, eat together].
Ab jaise Karan and Faizi are senior to Sanju but they are pretty close. Even talking about Karan-Faizi relationship, ek na ek toh commander hoga hi. Jaise current mission mein Karan hai [kisi aur mein Faizi bhi ho sakta hai] par they are like brothers and their entire relationship started professionally.

About Sanjana's role and our difficulty in deciphering an appropriate track, we could discuss and arrive at one.

What is it about the character that is getting us confused? Let's come up with a list of questions and find answers.

Starting with, may be:

1. Is it her background, language of the original role that does not necessarily resonate with?

2. Is there a dearth of real life references around us to be able to relate to?

I think the second one is the main reason. Since I have grown up in an environment where such a rough and tough girl is not something I am used to, isliye mujhe uske character se resonate karne mein dikkat aa rahi hai. I mean, I have seen such girls but I have never picked up the traits toh as writing, I can't seem to put them in words.

Background and language isn't something I am having too much trouble about toh woh theek hai.

Moreover, in the show, unn logon ne Sanju ko ek bahut hi zyaada violent and brash person dikhaaya tha, and didn't necessarily show her to be very calculative or practical.

Toh with me trying to keep the essence while trying to make sure it's not illogical or irritating [because for me, the way Sanju dealt with majority of the situations was irritating] and I don't want to portray Sanju in a very negative light.
I liked her in action scenes- baaki they didn't show much of planning toh us mein koi bhi nahi tha- but kitne hi daaloon main woh. I can't remember Sanju in any mission-related scenes that didn't contain much of action, except the teeny part during her own track. I had that in the two violent missions they have been on- Mission Euphoria and in the club Pandemonium.

Also, since her specialization is in martial arts, ab main woh kahan aur kaise daalon beech mein? Beyond a point, woh zyaada use nahi ho sakta.
So, abhi maine socha hai ki itna sochna nahi hai, and I'll put Sanju in a strategic limelight, that is, she devises plans rather than just relying on her expertise.

I had planned it differently in the starting par usse dono Faizi aur Sanju kaafi peechhe ho rahe the and I think it wasn't entirely practical, toh ab, they will all have their own mini missions to work on [jaise, following Laxman's traits is Karan's, the clubs are Faizi's, and the security is Sanju's.]
I am not sure ab yeh kitna work karega, but... yeh bhi karke dekh lete hain.

What do you guys think?

Diwali sab celebrate karte hai.. like it's a big deal across North, West and East India. Also cu it's one week's vacation across board. Other festivals ain't celebrated that much, especially in offices cuz it's very community specific. Holi ka bhi aisa hi hai. But they celebrate it within the campus since it is residential too.

She comes from a background different to say a Karan or Monami or even a Chitra. Suman and her would probably understand each other better?

May be in a scenario having to deal with gathering information, using indigenous alternatives when standard methods fail.

Haan, true. Also, I don't think I have developed her too much as a personal character. Jaise, she doesn't mingle with a lot of people toh there has barely been scenes jahan par uska personal growth ya personal things dikhte hain.

There are scenes mostly with Sid, a few with Monami, Karan or Faizi baaki it's mostly her agent side. Koel ke saath shayad do scene the, and uske waise hi kam hai, aur bhi zyaada kam ho gaye.

Tumne Suman ji aur Sanju ke baare mein baat kari, toh I imagined a relationship jahan par dono ek doosre ko bhar bhar ke taunt kar rahi hain about the weirdest things- obviously, in a personal, friendly sense. Since they have grown up in such atmosphere, unhe taunts sun sun kar taunts dene bhi bahut achhe se aate hain. 😆

Haan, that's also a good idea. Jahan par all these people- Sanju, Suman ji, Bala (Prem ji??)- they all come up with jugaadu ways to do things.
