The content doesn't matter. Oscars are a mix of popularity, lobbying and general critical acclaim. TKF hasn't got any of the three. It also is very weak from a technical standpoint.

How was RRR any more trash than War, Minty? It was a super fun film which clicked with the masses.

I don't think it's Oscar-worthy. My comment was about you calling it trash. It is actually well-written, well-made for what it set out to do.

Gangubai is too loud, too caricaturish for what purports to be a movie set in the real world. A biopic, to boot. RRR was not pretending to be anything of the sort. It was a film meant to entertain, and it did.
