Vidi, yes it would be interesting to explore the possibility of a different destiny for Dev. I was imagining the stoic and *not letting his emotions control him* Dev going fanaa in love, but the mytho connection kind of dampens it 😆
I am curious to see what changes the equation for Vidhi, for now she calls him *uncle*.

🤗 wonderful depiction of Mahabharata. Agree completely that the bloodline end with Bheeshma and the greater good was not considered.

Mytho connection definitely there the way Amba was shown and claiming she won't tie her hair ( Amba copying Draupadi🤣)

But IMO the scenes are copy of KKKG... Rachana's act in the bowl scene matching Kajol's epic Gamala scene..... Dev standing in front of his father's portrait matching Amitabh.... I won't be too surprised if Vidhi's father dies N Dev keeps his hand on Vidhi's head.🤪

But Dev's dialogues were very good.

Bharva Baingan cannot be the criteria to choose your life partner.

The senior man-younger woman trope is old.... but the show has potential to show a new Devrath.

No glimpse has been given so far on Dev having a past love. But he did seem shocked to see that Amba is the famous Amy Mausi.

One cannot assume the age these days just coz of grey hair.😔 I don't think he is as old as Vidhi's father, but seems too unconcerned about people assuming him to be old. He seems to be unmarried since his step mom talked to him about getting married now that his final responsibility (his half sister's marriage) is taken care of.
