All kind of genres come on indian webseries and not just on violence, sex and politics. Tvf rarely makes series on violence, sex or politics and they make a lot of webseries like Kota factory, panchayat, immature, tripling etc. If Netflix has sacred games then it also has mismatch which is a rom-com. I watched raveena tandon's Netflix series and it didn't had any bold scenes. Same with never kiss your best friend, ranjeev-divyanka webseries and many more which are light hearted and love stories. I rarely watch India webseries but when i decide to watch there are plenty of choices other than dark ones.

Webseries and movies come with censorship certificate. They clearly show the age restriction tag. Even the Hollywood ones come with warning. It's totally upto the audience to watch it or not. They are not rubbing anything on anyone's face. Everyone has the complete freedom to watch what they want to watch.

If we stop over sexualizing women's body then half of the things we think as bold and vulgar will look normal. Kissing on the lips is way less sensual than kissing on the neck or other parts like how 90s and 2000s movies used to show. 90s and 2000s bwood movies used to sexualize women more than anything with extreme sexist dialogues and toxic masculinity.

I don't think all female leads used to do bold scenes. There were only few of them. Bollywood movies in 50s, 60s didn't have any bold scenes as far as I remember. People still remember Meena kumari, Madhubala foldly and I don't think they even did any bold scenes. And some of the bollywood movies back then were far more progressive than current ones. Even now the film in those era is still considered golden era for a reason.

There are still some good shows without any intimate scenes but its rare nowadays. Bollywood is highly commercialized and they make movies based on what will sell not what they is good.

Its not like bollywood has progressed a lot from 80s a d 90s. Films such as kabir sing is still being made and still even now most of the movies are male oriented.

These are few exceptions i would say in hundred of same movies either about people coming out or movies like gehraiya

Nobody is sexuliazing a woman's body other than she herself . Bec it sells. Bec she chose to do it.... Same way a man's body is also being sexualized otherwise this trend of body making wouldn't be there ..men r more into their looks compared to the past. There is so much more to people than their sex and their looks but sadly it's brushed aside . I don't want to generalize so there r few who do it just for popularity , to get roles , to get media attention, there r few who do it by choice . There is all types of content on itv , web and bollywood..not all is vulgar not all is creative not all is art not all is exceptional. Same wirh Hollywood.. some of the English shows/movies r great ..how we view the content is on us. Some will find it vulgar others will see it as an expression of love.

if it's their choice we should let them be. They say audience want to watch this content so they serve it ..we say we r being served this content so we watch it. It's a viscious circle.

I think we have digressrd a lot from the main topic..

Neither of those movies are romantic movies and also had enough glamour quotient. It's like how Marvel movies make huge money over Hollywood movies that win Oscar. Also when a movie is made on a certain budget they need to cater to all type of audience. Marvel movies are for every age group. Same for kgf or rrr. All these movies are doing well because it's new for hindi belt people but if Telugu and kanada industry keeps on making movies similar to rrr and kgf it will start to flop as well. Budget wise rrr or kgf might be new for the regional audience but storywise it's not. Telugu films make movies with hyper masculinity all the time. It's like how salman khan found success with a certian genre at the start but then people got bored of it. Now people are done watching salman khan redefining physics.

I'm not saying its romantic movies or not I'm saying if the movie is good people will come to watch it and if bad nothing can save it and recently bollywood ka jo hal hy literally every other film is being flopped left right picture is very clear . You were saying that new generation would like to see something different and not just old running in Switzerland so i was saying kgf and rrr are not like something extra ordinary still they are working on the other hand i even doubt about bharmaastra which is kinda same with the scele of these movies would work or not

I think we have digressrd a lot from the main topic..

It sells because it's sexualized and it's definitely not women who started it. Women themselves didn't go around saying get turned on by my legs or shoulders. Some people cannot even handle a girl in a sleeveless dress. How is a girl in a sleeveless cloth or a shorts sexualizing herself? How are even a woman's arms or legs sexual?

There is nothing wrong in having a good body or feeling comfortable in their own body. Nobody wears a saree to show their midriff. Sarees naturally expose some part of the body. Same way some clothes exposes some part of the body. There is nothing wrong in it. Fashion is also a form of art and people expresses themselves through it.

Bhool bhulaiya 2 was a hit and a very clean movie but it was also a bad movie. I think even jug jug jeeyo is doing great and i doubt it's that good. So bwood is making family movies but unlike 90s and 2000s all the movies are not targetted for the family audience. All type of movies are being made nowadays.

Kgf and rrr are pan indian movies. It's aimed for the masses all across india with a pan indian topic. They are promoted all across India. So the hype is also high. Bollywood makes movies primarily for hindi belt audience and not for south audience. So they never was able to get the pulse of South Indian audience whereas Telugu movies got the pulse of the entire indian mass audiences. Kgf is the first and only kanada movie to make that amount of money. Also Bollywood targets NRIs. So they have to make movies that is acceptable for NRIs as well as indian audiences.

I agree that content wise regional movies are coming up with different projects than bwood and attracting a wider audience but it has everything to do with lack of content from Bollywood and not to do with kissing scenes or clothes. If kgf had a kissing scene nothing would have happened to it's collection. It will still collect crores of rupees. Pushpa is also a hit all across India and it had an item song. So if the movie gets the pulse of the mass audience then nobody will care if there is a kissing scene or bold scene in the movie.

It's not about the clothes. Every girl has the right to dress up as per their society thy move in.....i think it should be done sensibly but again it's their choice. Turning on etc etc is given to us by nature , it's not our choice . It's in a man's mind and his body .

I'm not talking about women in general but actresses and models. Heroines like zeenat went bold , she was appreciated , sharmila "chose " to go bold by wearing a two piece in evening in Paris. helen chose to do item numbers ...Likewise many others . But in today's times there is no place for actresses. Girls have to look good , wear short clothes , do item numbers , hot photoshoots , kiss on screen , do 1 making out scene , even have fake affairs for pr. If they don't do it , some other girl will. So girls go that route consciously and what exactly is the intention ? They say its their choice , their body , they r comfortable in these clothes so nobody should have a problem. But men think otherwise don't they? Are they sexualizing themselves or not ? Are they forced to do such roles ?

It's glamor industry where everyone is there to exploit , everybody's main aim is to earn money whatever the means . If any girl is being sexualized , they must quit but do they? This whole debate about "who are you to tell any woman or man how to dress up , what to do what not " All this talk wouldn't be happening if girls and boys were not sexualizing themselves .

If I am not wrong, there was a paki actresses who was criticized for her bold photoshoot recently. Why exactly ?

Am I the only one who doesn't like Ahad here?

Where are the expressions?

He seems so bland here.
