You have to understand Texas it is one of the most conservative Bible Belt state. They believe in carrying their AK47’s and walking to Walmart because the 2nd amendment allows them. They don’t believe in abortion and they want only white people there. Mexicans are criminals, Indians and middle eastern are not welcomed either, Africans are not needed too.

Greg Abbott who is the governor is an idiot and loves his bigotry where he thinks women should spread their legs when men want and then make babies. If it’s up to him he will bring back slavery. He keeps getting re-elected because he says what they want to hear.

one thing the drama makes me think of is the importance of having a father-son relationship and man-to-man friendship. if we see, sufiyan and shehroze both have complicated or cold relationships with their fathers. sufiyan has some sane friend but not that he listens to him. he is still loafing around. shehroze seems to have none. so having another view is so important in having a healthy balance and having that countercheck to the arroagance.

huzaifa has a relationship with shujafat where at least they are able to speak to each other with mehnaz acting as mediator and translator. he also seems to have tons of friends because he is forever out. mabye that is why he didn't care if he didn't get ushna. he was aware that there will always be other buses to catch. 😂

Cos they are hicks. When I was in Texas I got yelled at three times to fuk off to Mexico and I am not even Mexican. I disliked her jewelry. plus the earning looked so heavy that it seemed to almost pop out of her ear and not fitting her face.

Rafakat is like those typical south Asian fathers that their children don't directly convers with. If they want something they will inform him through the mother. Whatever relation they have will be through their mothers. Mother will say what the father wants to the children and viseversa.

Shujat seems to be an approachable guy for everyone and not just huzaifa.

With wahab we all know he is more than ready to listen to shehroze but shehroze is too blinded by one parent to see the other.

yea, thats why rafaqat blaming raeesa is indeed spot on. not like he had anything to do with their upbringing. but it also leaves room for raeesa to manipulate. if you see how the dynamics are, it is raeesa either using the kids or them using her -- ultimate goal is manipulating rafaqat. so there is constant games being played back and forth.

actually like shujahat and his family. they are funny as well as mostly sane.

because shehroze is so blinded, wahab has lack of power in his own family. thats why naima is all over the place -- because he has no standing in his own house.
