No. He should not have been punished. This is the argument put forth by all extremists. Oh, let's make all blasphemy illegal. Nope. Ridicule of religious figures, all the way up to God, should be 100% legal.

Protecting God and religious figures is not really about them. It's about exercising power over what others may say, think, eat, dress, etc.

Nothing happened to them also. Akbaruddin Owaisi walked away free after saying that remove police and in 15 minutes there will be no Hindu alive.

There, that’s your equality!!

Chalo atleast you accepted that extremist Hindus also talk about beheading and wiping out a whole community.....and coming to disrespect of your Gods.......when people chant Jai Sri Ram to cheer for a would be rapist.....that is the biggest disrespect of Sri Ram that any one can do.....woh nahi dikhta.....Do you guys even realize that what Lord Ram symbolizes or stands for......toh khoon tumhara uss per khaulna chahiye...Do u think Sri Ram is very happy at the crimes people do in his name......I as a Hindu am more offended by Hindus abusing Sri Ram's name.....yes any one who is doing something wrong in Ram's name is a sinner ....same goes for Muslims or Christians or any other religion.

You can very well say that. I was having this religion debate with my neighbor whose dad is catholic.
She went like fcuk all religions. We laughed and another one said if not religions, humanity will be fighting over something else.
which is true. I have started believing that.

That is sadly true.

God, I feel awful having said that sruff about eff religions. I'm a firm believer in God. And I'm a practicing Christian. But religion seems to be more of a political issue than a matter of faith at this point in time.

lol while people have been ranting about India's response to the characters who were destroying state property protesting, below is fun stuff about how Kuwait is planning to deal with these idiots. Enjoy.😆 By the way, if these guys want to protest and go on their usual rampage, they should be free to. Just destroy each other's properties, not the tax-payers😆

The Kuwait government has decided to arrest and deport all expats, including Indians, who protested against remarks on Prophet Muhammad by the now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

The Gulf nation is known to be strict with its laws, including labour laws for expats. According to an Indian journalist based in Kuwait, the government will not go soft on Indian expats.

“No hope for Indian expats in Kuwait who protested against Nupur Sharma. The Kuwaiti government will not go soft on them, they will be deported very soon,” Jeeves Erinjeri, an Indian journalist based in Kuwait told India Today.

We are very much aware of that. That’s why those poor souls never complain. Still they get persecuted with the false blasphemy allegations, day in and day out. Everybody knows how well Pakistan treats it’s minorities. It’s not even rocket science to figure out -just compare their numbers from 1947 to 2022!
