I feel surprisingly Radain shah has written this show as an entertaining script/filmy whatever you call it. But what i had expected was that he is someone who writes serious and you know "pseudo intellectual" proof script 😆 like i was expecting intelligent writing but looks like he has wanted to lean towards making it more entertaining than anything else. I think his thought process was "yeh character aise karega toh yeh zyada maze ka lagega, rather than aise thodi koi karta hai" maybe this is his first attempt at writing a masala genre.. but whatever it is mazze ka hai! Im thoroughly enjoying!

But yet, if radain shah is writing any script even if it is massy, i would expect a lil less regressiveness or very few loop holes or disconnects

yeah, thats what it seems like. Nadeem baig also told this, ki its the channel thats tells the production house what story they want. And then these guys work on it.

I saw naumaan ejaz's interviews, he was literally calling the three channels teen Chaudhary and was like in log ne dramas ka beda ghark karke rakha hua hai, Directors only have to make sure that actors are telling the dialogues as it is and there is no creativity. Actors too cant protest and say that they dont agree with so and so dialogues. He means this is Majority of the case.

So yes i guess most of it has a very big behind the scenes which we audience are not exposed to. And channels know exactly what they are doing for ratings.

Which is why i feel audience should be smart enough and not over intellectualise while watching this genre. Just have fun and yeah have discussions but there is no need to get overly righteous. Audience ab itni toh smart hojani chahiye. Its like when you watch movies like dabang 1, Chennai express, dhoom.. you just went to have fun for the most part. Im just giving an example, ofcourse its not the most parallel example, but just trying to say every project is different and should just be seen for what it is.

Having said that.. i feel i dream and fahad mustafa are a lot more dramatic than 7 th sky in execution. Like if you compare deewangi to ktk or ishq hai. Thats quite surprising cuz that's geo at the end of the day 😆

exactly! For them this is an out and out massy filmy style big project! So they know exactly what kinda treatment this should have to keep it engaging. Like for example the same production house wont have these same masses ko appease karne wale elements in their show like fraud, to this extent, cuz that project is different, its not massy, but yeah it does have saba qamar, a big star, but you get the point right..

7thSky was classy till Deewangi imo. Fitoor onwards they became worse than BigBang and iDream.

I think if the audience enjoys a Dabangg, they can also enjoy an Andhadhun.

Like I watch both KTK and Sang-e-Mah. As long as the show is well-made or the actors are doing a good job, people will enjoy it.
