I totally get your point.

And for the record I absolutely love MiMo track... to me it is an important piece of the SaiRat puzzle.

That is my reference point for everything SaiRat... their equation, trust, friendship and love.

That track was needed before Shruti for Sai to mentally remove Pakhi from the equation and trust V and also to realise her feelings for him.

In the end, it became just that... a trust exercise... where V was expecting it without a question and while Sai was ready to give it, she had apprehensions and needed some assurances... which V didn't understand that she needed ... like you said.

The comment above was my interpretation as to why we all lost connect to V in recent months.

It failed on multiple levels... and V bore the brunt of it all... Sai still fared better in terms of characterization.

Her whole life changed because of that. It doesn't mean that she doesn't love Virat but that was a turning point in her life at a very young age. It was natural of her to say that. But, having said that, she doesn't regret Virat and falling in love with him.

They messed up with Shruti's characterisation and the damage was so much that even Virat looked like sheltering a criminal.

Don’t know whether you agree or not but

Here is the precap where Sai clearly spelt jindagi before Aba. So jindagi is the qualifying word that is meant for the noun Aba.

She said her life,her Aba

Ayesha said it with right kind of stress on jindagi which is important.

Means Jagtap killed Aba who is her life itself. Her life revolved round her Aba only.

It is the rule to spell the qualifying word before the subject which is Aba here.

It has nothing to do with Virat in any way. That is why there is no reaction from Virat. There is nothing to get offended since Viru knows Sai’s life till then is her Aba only.

1. I agree that they changed the story midway which is why Nivaan left... so maybe the track would have ended differently.

2. From what I know of KD, Shruti was innocent... not a gang member directly. They flipped it here and committed the biggest mistake. Ghum wali Shruti was an active member. Had it been similar to KD, there would have been still some ounce of sympathy for Shruti and V.

5. Lastly, the timing of the track... In KD it came much later, so Rono's behaviour with Emon in the pre holi track was justified because they had a proper conjugal relationship and she still did not trust him. This is not the case in ghum. So V's anger at Sai seems illogical and so does her guilt.

6. They have left Shruti open ended as of now. So I do feel she will comeback and that would be the trigger for Sai to finally realise how wronged she was.... and the conversation that we all want will happen then. 😭

I agree with each & every point you have specified. Virat agreeing to the divorce quickly and then turning 180 degree into a stubborn man unwilling to give any explanation...while he signed as Saahas father in fron of Sai - WTH was that? Stupid & ludicrous. Even if they wanted to bring this concept of "distrust and learning to trust"...they should have written a much shorter plot...the long drawnn out plot from KD just did not fit with the messed up timeline. Another reason was the lack of acknowledgement of Sai's pain...if not at that time, atleast post reconciliation, Virat should have apologized.

I thought DevKit wedding could not be beaten in terms of irrationality. Virats sahi waqt had no destination or time frame. A small change here could have helped. Retain Shruthi as a civilian but V has to hide her identity because the Police wrongfully believe she is alsp part of the gang. Virat could have been trying to gather evidence to prove Shruthis innocence in order to get himself & his family out of legal trouble...that would have been a good sahi waqt. It need not have been an elaborate plan....even an illogical one would suffice..most of it happenning behind the screen even. But imagine, they tortured audience for 4 months, using the same tape recorded message that V was not telling Sai anything because he did not want her to be implicated ...only for the DIG to be very accepting of V's actions without any question. TRP audience may not look for top notch logic, but I can imagine their irritation wondering why V was hiding all this in the first place then. One can give leeway to poor direction, camera work...they may not have capable hands. But writing dept has been compensated by ready made material...if they cannot even make small changes to that and give a presentable polt, I dont know what to say. Anyway, I promised myself that I will not rant...so I wont.

The basic premise of Shruthi track was actually not bad at all - but the execution was so bad that I cannot even take it seriously.

Yes may be i was reading too much. :) It came twice so I got intrigued. I know she did not mean it, but in either way i felt that the dialogue was not correctly written 😛
