She is already at the Rani,Vidya stage in her career as far as roles are concerned.She can't look back. public will expect no less from her.

That's why everyone ignored her when RRR released. If Kiara had done the same role, not only audience but also BW would've rewarded Kiara.

Never got her hype but she is someone who takes her career seriously, a quite admirable quality....if she doesn't take any major breaks now in 10 years her career would be enviable by every other actress...

She is an under achiever in her first decade of her career. SLB film was a hit..so was Sanju,RRR and other films of big directors.

She also got a patriotic film,a biopic ,it did well and opened at 7 crore.Though biopics usually do better.

Compare that to any of her seniors..Not a good report card.

Agree with you but she's def at an exciting point at her career...Gangu really put Alia at the top...if Brahmastra becomes a huge success and with no other major actress as her competition she would surely have a legacy of her own.....

Tanhaji was a hit,Sooryavanshi was a hit ,Simbba was a hit..most of Aamir films were ATBB..IF next film doesnt work?

Katty has better lineup than Aloo..Tiger3 will be Huge..her Sriram raghavan film looks good..Phone bhoot seems fun..

Kriti has many films OmRaut's Adi Purush is expected to be huge..

Kiara is busy..She makes good jodis with all..Bhool bhulaiya is expected to do well.

yes all of these were hits but all had big male stars in them...Alia made a women centric movie hit...

also Kriti and Kiara's movies even if they become huge it won't be becoz of them, just like Alia was not called out after delivering flops like Shandaar and Sadak..I just mean she's at the point where she's become a dependable star both in serious and commercial films....Brahmastra is def a big gamble but more so for Ranbir than Alia...if it becomes a huge hit Alia will surely have a share in the success but sadly if it flops it will be more called Ranbir's failure.

Anyway this is what I think....can't believe I wrote so much defending her when I don't even enjoy her acting 😂

Also success of Katrina's movies is hardly depended on her..

Her career is going the same way Ranbir's .Best actor of this generation-kjo pointed out..youngest superstar..and then Sanju..After that no one wants to work with him.He cant get a female co-star to lift him out of the rut-he doesnt need a director-but a good A list actress-his roles are such.

Alia too faces the same problem..she does nothing for heroes..they look thanda when paired opp her because of her lack of glamour ,sex appeal. She will try to get her female centric roles.
