Really, I thought we finally had a guy who is sensible (not the kind of I'm rich, I can insult anyone, typical Gul heroes). But, he more or less took away someone's agency (although intention matters) during the wedding track, which was a lot more butchering than a couple (I guess, 7 :P) of sorry's IMO. I wish the apology was for marriage, rather than random stuff.

Imlie has been (called) wrong for more than 50 pages for a lot of reasons and Aryan course-corrected (lectured/scolded/reprimanded) most of the times which was absolutely necessary. I don't have any problem with Aryan being wrong for a while. Otherwise, it won't be the so-called 50-50.

Going to play that after today's episode 😜

When? I don't have the faintest recollection of her apologizing to anyone. Other than to herself

Not to nitpick, but isn't Aryan indirectly responsible for this rift? The blackmail/deal marriage into which Meethi emotionally blackmailed her daughter, towards the end? Sometimes, I don't understand why people/Arylie themselves consider Meethi such a good mother, who forces their daughter to go along with 2 forced/deal marriages? the first one being way way more horrible than the second.

I really should stop writing unpopular opinions, Phew

Hmmmm......... First off, there are no unpopular opinions, my friend, in Mili's book. Like Pooja said, everybody's opinion matters, as long as the debate is respectful.😃

I am not going to defend ASR for the attempted forced wedding. But, I give him credit for backing off, even if it is in the last minute👍🏼. He made sure that nobody questions her as well.

But, if Meethi saw a better future for her daughter with Aryan, if Meethi felt that a life with Aryan will prevent her from heading into a Tripathi black hole 🤢of giving, giving and more giving, and is she saw Aryan as a genuine, authentic, loving and responsible partner to her daughter, then it is not Aryan's fault🤔 That is what I am saying. He can't apologize for being a nice, responsible, sensible, non-egoistic guy who appealed to Meethi's heart as the best suitor for her daughter.

As for Meethi forcing Imlie, that is between mother and daughter. My beef is with Imlie. She had been wronged and wronged by Tripathis. Yet, she latched on to them and said " apne ko nahin chod sakti" and kept going back to them to deal with all of their financial and security issues👎🏼.

I do understand being mad at your mom for pushing you into something. But, BUT, look at the outcome of that push. She seems to be quite comfortable with her life with Aryan, she is getting the respect, trust, belonging ( I know Aryan's stupid no family, but I am going to ignore that for now) in the family, not to mention a comfortable life and she herself is mesmerized and getting attracted to him.❤️ She is free to spread her wings and do what she pleases. So, why does she still keep thinking about her mom in a rather angry and anguished way? 🤢When her own equation with Aryan has changed, her understanding or compromise with her mom's motives and zidd should also change na? Especially, when she is the protagonist ideal beti/bahu😭

I won't speak about the first marriage- I hate it on all counts💔Hope I made some sense of where I am coming from😊

don't even wanna comment on Arpita surpita 🥱 bas Aryan hi galat hai aur koi nahi, akkadbagga ghamandi could not see his sis' true lub

as u said too many lectures, moral science class 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱..

but his guilt in meethi's matter can be justified, this will make him feel terrible how he has wronged imlie, he will think the reason behind imlie's come back was also to keep her mom's words, n the fact she hasn't reconciled with her yet will make him conclude she is still in majboori..

I wish he does something to free imlie from this marriage, let imlie miss him for sometime.. rather than keep making Aryan feel guilty all the time 😤

@bold...... will be sad for him😒

The lectures were horrible though☢️ Now I understand when our students gave us feedback not to preach but give them practical pointers.🤢 It is sooo tiring to sit through those lectures.

We usually has a saying when we teach, when something doesn't make sense, go back to your basics and reassess. Here toh humein practical lesson mil gaya, the writers went back to their basics, of the 60-70s, with a evil son, cheenufying everything from the parents and drive them onto the roads, so they start begging in metropolitan Delhi. With all those lectures yesterday, I was holding my breath that somebody would try to goli-maar Uday guy and his mom comes in the middle, you know to practically show us the maa ki mamta, in case dense heads like me don't understand😡 I am disappointed we didn't get that😒

@ bold italics..... I don't know my friend🤢. That would be too traumatic to that young girl, having to go through this nonsense twice😭, as much as I don't care that much for Imlie. Moreover, I want the ASR character to be intact, he believes in the institution of marriage, he had role models in his parents❤️ I think the next move has to come from Imlie. Woh bahut kuch kar liya and took soo much blame for things he hadn't even done.

Is there a solid reason? You didn't want to marry Uday, and yet you decided to stay mum. You were infatuated with a guy, you decided to stay mum..just gonna stop here..Disgusted with the character. 🤬

Amy, my friend🤗 long time, no see.

The episodes are so disjointed, with no rhyme or reason. And, running at a pace we can't catch up with..

Yes, Arpita lost all respect from me after this nonsense fiasco. Only, the other day she is talking to Arvind's picture complaining that he shouldn't have left her. Today, she is in undying love with a character who she assumed is a Tripathi family member, I mean she knew that much about him. She also thinks that ending her life will end all of her brother's troubles. Yes, the same sister who asked to let go of his jeeju's death and find peace thinks that Aryan will be jumping with joy 🥳after her death, free of all his troubles🤬

The reason is she was called manhoos by some diddly doo😡 and she can't bear her heartbreak of being separated from her true love So, she tries to hurt herself🤢Phew..... I also can't go on. I really don't care about her character anymore.

The histrionics of accepting Sundar ji are 👎🏼 Well, at least that is done. Somebody asked what does it take to be a Rathore damaad- I guess being a good cook and now just because he climbed up the balcony and got to her first. So all paramedics, doctors who are saving lives should be fair game as Rathore damaads🤢

I second each and every word of this 👏🏻

I hate how he's literally turned into a guilt and apologizing machine😡

Like what the hell.

Why would he apologize for every damn thing. That's not the ASR I fell for. What are they doing to him?

I agree with most of the things you said. Firstly, I can't handle Imlie's obsession with Tripathi's, it was hella toxic. That and the storyline were the reasons I've never watched this show before. I love moving-on phase in general, which happens rarely in any Indian show, and it is the thing which brought me to this drama. I wished Tripathi's to stay longer actually, there is so much potential to show the contrast between healthy and toxic in-laws.

I understand where you're coming from wrt Imlie-Meethi, but Meethi's words made me extremely uncomfortable, somehow I directly attributed it to Imlie not being worthy enough without marriage (Guess, I'm projecting my insecurities like Arylie :P). Ofcourse, Rathores and Aryan turned out to be better choices (lucky Imlie), but it could have gone completely wrong also right? What then? Like the case with Aditya, till Aryan's entry, he was considered great, Meethi also liked him at some point (I've heard some dialogues during PD track related to this, might have misunderstood), what was the end result? And after that one call right after the wedding, did Meethi try to contact Imlie again? Talking about this incident in isolation, I like Imlie's resolve of not talking to her mother till now. But like you said, wrt to how she behaved with Tripathis (Aparna), it is way out-of-character. On this point, I think Imlie recently grew a spine (Aryan's influence maybe)

Don't know if I made sense.

Don't know if I made sense.

Nope, perfect sense my friend👍🏼

I am not going to go into the first marriage deal at all. I hate everything about that with a vengeance😡. Both girls Malini and Imlie, more so Malini is the most wronged, even though she is thrown under the bus. Adi guy never a good guy whether the yardstick Aryan was there or not. I was a staunch Malini sympathizer till they killed off her character to ashes😭 I really wanted to see how she would handle betrayal from a 7 yr companion and a girl whom she took under her wing. Well........ Meethi is not so great during that phase too, she gave free gyaan to Malini to move on, while she would latch on to memory of a unknown, coward Dev for 18-19 years. She gave free gyaan to Malini to find another life partner while they ( Meethi and Imlie) preached about importance of one marriage, one husband yada, yada and yada😡👎🏼 I will not support any of that nonsense.

But, I am going to give Meethi the benefit of doubt in that she had known Aryan and his good nature, be it in PD when he interacted with her with utmost humility or him sticking his neck out in protecting an impulsive Imlie and several more times.

I absolutely agree with you, if her choice turned out to be disastrous like Adi guy or Uday, especially when she is protesting, I won't complain about Imlie's behavior towards her mom. It is only realistic😭 But, given the circumstances, she is enjoying the courtship phase, she likes him now, she feels secure with him now, she moved past the "you forced me " phase with several things that happened between them, the adda car incident being the most important. So, I feel like a sane person would have said at least to themselves " if not for my mom's zidd, I wouldn't have been with him, thank God". For a ideal beti, this should have been an impetus at least for a monologue🤢......Oh well.....🤔
