Not to nitpick, but isn't Aryan indirectly responsible for this rift? The blackmail/deal marriage into which Meethi emotionally blackmailed her daughter, towards the end? Sometimes, I don't understand why people/Arylie themselves consider Meethi such a good mother, who forces their daughter to go along with 2 forced/deal marriages? the first one being way way more horrible than the second.

I really should stop writing unpopular opinions, Phew

Meethi did not know about the forced/deal thing btw them, so she forced imlie for the feelings she saw between them.

Meethi chose imlie over herself by giving her birth, she tried best of her capacity in raising her, she's not perfect but no one is, and she's a wayyy better mother than aparana and Radha tripathi combined.

And don't stop the opinions, your opinion is valuable because it's your own, it doesn't have to be the popular opinion, that makes the forum vibrant. 😀

Aryan looks so broken since the revelation of how he misunderstood arvind case, now he don't even wanna nitpick who is wrong where, whatever happens he will say sorry to everyone and take blame on himself and just settle down the matter..

don't even wanna comment on Arpita surpita 🥱 bas Aryan hi galat hai aur koi nahi, akkadbagga ghamandi could not see his sis' true lub

as u said too many lectures, moral science class 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱..

but his guilt in meethi's matter can be justified, this will make him feel terrible how he has wronged imlie, he will think the reason behind imlie's come back was also to keep her mom's words, n the fact she hasn't reconciled with her yet will make him conclude she is still in majboori..

I wish he does something to free imlie from this marriage, let imlie miss him for sometime.. rather than keep making Aryan feel guilty all the time 😤

Hi Mili..guess this epi (well, actually just saw some clips) brought me back to the forum.

So, you are telling me a person who has seen personally how a death of a loved one has affected the family, one from which she herself took a long time to accept...and years down the lane, her brother hasn't been able to forgive himself for and is still grappling how to be at peace..you telling me that person decides now to attempt suicide thus ensuring that her mum and bro would stay in a hell hole for the rest of their lives. ...And for what? Is there a solid reason? You didn't want to marry Uday, and yet you decided to stay mum. You were infatuated with a guy, you decided to stay mum..just gonna stop here..Disgusted with the character. 🤬

I understand, I didn't watch the actual marriage episode :P, just the flashbacks that Meethi had some OTT dialogues. I won't touch Tripathis even for comparison, they are hopeless. I consider Narmada before the entry of Aunty Blue, a practical and better mother compared to Meethi. It just doesn't sit well with me that Meethi didn't even go/stay with her daughter after her first marriage and try to find some solution. It was a very clearly forced marriage (for both people involved) and it is not uncommon knowledge that some new brides are treated poorly in their in-laws houses. Apart from crying Aditya Babu, Gudiya; I haven't seen her take 1 concrete step to better the life of her child (Not that crying is wrong, please). Imlie was 19, some progressive advice could have helped her, atleast after all the Malini drama. This can be 100% attributed to bad writing, maybe they didn't want to focus on supporting characters more. Having said all that, it is an exceptionally bold move to raise Imlie under the circumstances she was born. This was one of the reasons why my expectations were high. I don't consider Meethi a bad mother, but I don't think she is a good mother either especially looking from the timeline of the serial (Imlie was 18/19).

I'm being pestered by my parents for marriage, we've exchanged these responsibility, burden statements in fights. So, I immediately see typical Indian parents wanting to marry their daughter off at 20-22 when I remember Imlie-Meethi.

Amy long time no see 😔

Agree... Totally butchered Arpita from the moment she slipped to imlie about sunder being more than friend.

We understand she must have some insecurities but this was beyond comprehension.

I don't even have energy to vent anymore.. obviously someone on the writing table lost the plot literally on this track.. just hope they get their act together. I am having a bad feeling about the future of the show.

Oh, you mean that blink and miss it moment? I blinked then and missed it and it's a mystery how on subsequent rewatches I tend to always blink and miss it at that precise moment.

You did miss other glaring apologies though. How could you miss the many "Sorry Imlies". Those were apologies too. Maybe she thinks sorry is a word that you only use to say to yourself and not to anyone else.

She's the only right one while everyone else wrongs her, hence the sorry imlie speech (it wasn't so bad, but the follow up made it meaningless) 🤧

I'm sure they wanted to start butchering Aryan completely... sort of make him Aditya 2.0... then after the uproar from viewers realised it would be a dangerous thing to do... so settled for the next best thing - butchering Arpita instead.
