I am still finding Monami's character confusing probably because there are so many secrets surrounding her.
There are a ton of secrets and her character is complicated. At first glance, she seems to be too meek to last a day in the military academy but then you see her in training and it's a different determination.
Her nightmare seems like it's a memory than a nightmare. I wonder whether she has them every night?
(which makes her early everyday! And it makes Karan exasperated 😆)
Yup. She has them a lot. That's actually one of the things I had wanted to imply without being very clear about it and I am glad you caught it.
Now, coming to that part : Karan-Monu's early morning ritual is very cute. ❤️

First time they spoke about her social anxiety (something that was natural to ask about - basic curiosity and I am glad Monu is trying to at least talk to one trainer, even if it's a trainer she is terribly annoyed with him😆).
Second time they got philosophical ( Monu's words were well said [regarding Rani] and Karan is getting impressed day by day and especially when he doesn't want to get impressed 😆) and the third time they had a comfortable silence (rope climbing yeha pe bhi apni jaadu chala di ).
Karan's very confused about Monami. And it's not just regarding what she'll do, it's also regarding what he feels about her. If it was anyone except her, he would have liked her (in the sense he would like a good cadet) but since it's her, he's confused because he doesn't want to be impressed by her but he is.
The progress is seen well between them.

Karan & Faizi's bond is precious. Faizi couldn't stay angry at his bestie/brother for long at it shows in his antics and Karan hates it too if his brother-like-bestie is angry at him. Now if only 'angry-young-man' listens to the 'wise-and-sensible-friend' then it will be a sone-pe-suhaga!😆😉
Karan kisi ki nahi sunta. Wo consider kar lega but wo apne khud ke opinions itne strong banaata hai ki usko kuchh aur convince hi nahi karta unless wo khud yeh baat realize naa kare, though other's statements do help her realize things.
Now coming to training : Sid-Monu is the most successful cadets till now, probably because they have some experience, no matter how little. I loved the fact that Monu spoke out her thoughts (hush! Some progress from the poor girl! 👏).
It'll be a slow progress. It'll be emphasized in later chapters, especially, that Monami would do a lot of things to achieve her dream and that includes facing her fear head on.
Their capability to simple take what's coming their way is impressing their Head Trainer, I mean, Karan a lot ❤️😆. It's different that Sanju is also getting impressed by Sid - that's just a bonus.
It's definitely making him notice them. It's not just Karan, everyone notices them. Koel, as she thought, in the third chapter, how Sid and Monami are able to keep up easily with the trek and Sid's statement to the other cadets about running a lot every day makes them realize how serious and how good they are.
If the cadets are going to complain like this then I am very sure Karan is definitely going to honestly explode like a bomb! Now, I don't know if this name was given in the serial or not, but 'Exploding Shergill'? 🤣That's so amazing! 👏
It'll be a slow progress for the cadets as well, to accept that what Karan does is not out of personal enmity and rather out of a want to train them.

Btw, I did notice that Karan is taking out all his frustration, anger, confusion and every single emotion out on Monami! 😆 As if she means something to him! ❤️
Wo ghoom phirkar usi par aa jaata hai. He doesn't feel anything of that sort for her yet, of course, but she's definitely noticeable to him. And he calls her out, making her notice him too and making her notice all the things he does and inspect them.
In all her frustrations on Karan, Monami still behaved like a ideal cadet. She was good at controlling her emotions and tried to speak what she thought was within the line between them. I loved this part the most in Chapter 5 and in Chapter 6 too.
Monami knows a lot about military academy and one thing she definitely knows it that it is run on discipline. If it was someone else, she might have reacted differently but since this is her senior, she is staying with her limits no matter how Karan reacts to her.
Karan is harsh in training but is rather right when he is worried that how he'll manage teach so many things in just three years! Poor trainers! Over that theory to start bhi nehi hui! Cadets ki band baja baarat hone wali hai jald hi 🥲 !
He's not just worried about the mission failing. He knows that if they aren't trained properly and couldn't handle themselves, it'll kill them and kill all the civilians they might be trying to protect.
Karan, despite being such a good commando, couldn't save those 13 hostages and if these poorly trained cadets would go on missions, they'll get themselves killed and get more civilians killed.
That's also what he's worried about. Hence, why he is being harsh on them.
Rope climbing scene has my heart ❤️ Karan was annoyed, trying to hate her but couldn't and at the end helped her! 😆Then decided to see whether she actually took his tips and trained...this guy just wants his Rani Sahiba to be the best. He just haven't realized it yet.
Karan is really intrigued by Monami. He couldn't understand what sort of person she is (he doesn't want to let go of that prejudice and he's still taking in all she does and then since they don't match, he gets confused.)
At least Monu was right when she said that no matter how much Karan had some invisible 'personal dushmani'; he would still perform his duty well.

Monami, since she's quiet, has learned to observe people and make decisions on the few facts she's been given. She takes in account what people say, then take in account what she has seen and form conclusions because she's usually listening and seeing far more than she is saying.
Now back to this mission : Looks like it's for the long haul since you are only revealing scraps of information for it. Faizi taking the lead where his likable personality is utilized to the maximum! 👏
I have a lot of things in mind with this particular track. I had always thought Sid, Faizi and Bala would be very good at accidentally making people slip up, especially Sid and Faizi, because they are so amicable and they can capture the other person well and make them speak up things before they realize it.
Karan stuffing his face with mission reports instead of biriyani - why did I laugh when I imagined it? 🤣
Poor Karan. I laughed imagining this too. Faizi mast apna doston se gappe maar raha hai, and Karan yahan mission reports ko dekhkar soch raha hai 'Kaash yeh Biryani hoti.'🤣
Koel & Faizi's conversation had so many undercurrents to it. Koel was upfront in revealing some aspects of her life while Faizi was startled and warned subtly too - like if you don't want this relation to truly progress, can't commit or can't invest your time then back off! Koel didn't want Nikhil to be hurt too since he will be involved too in case his mumma decides to bring him a dad!
Yes! Koel, as I had already said, is mature and also, experienced in relationships. So, she is definitely sorted about such things.
Well done Koel! 👏 Now the ball is in Faizi's court but the way he responded at the last 😍, I think he is willing to invest in a flirty friendship at the least for now. This couple would no doubt be the most sorted in their relationship!
Yup. Pretty sorted. Their love story would have their own challenges but they'll be pretty sorted regarding what they feel about each other and to communicate what they feel.

Sanju ko naa Monami samajh aa rahi, naa Karan ka reaction Monami ki taraf. She is only rude to people who she hates or dislikes. She won't go out of her to be nice or kind, but she'll help if she finds them okayish.
And I already said that everyone is taking notice of Monami and Sid's determination and Sanju is no excpetion.
And one point to note - If Karan went on the way he is going everyone is going to know Monami as 'Karan's gal', except Monami. So oblivious!

Oh right! Sid-Monu's convo! Sid angry for his Monu bro is bestie goals, but I think it's more on the fact that he can't see her in pain. It was highlighted well, when he wanted to help her but stopped. I feel Monami needs to learn to do things by herself slowly. This would probably help with her self-confidence issues.
It's not just because of her self-confidence issues. If Sid would have his way, he won't force her to deal with it in that way. It's mainly because he knows if he points it out, Karan would make it worse for her, and people might think less of Monami and start to think she needs Sid to defend her, which would actually bring her self-confidence way, way lower.
Anyway, when is Monu going to mix with the cadets? I am missing Monu-Sumanji & Monu-Bala bonding!
It'll be a slow process. She'll bond with Sanju because she's her roommate, even Karan because he notices her all the time but the others would be slightly slower. She doesn't need to talk to the cadets if she doesn't want to, so it'll be a slower process than others.
