I think that the letter will somehow reach the police while Abhi is doing tandav. He won't be the one to call the police. The letter says that Akshu was driving, and Aarohi will remain silent to save herself... Akshu will be too shocked to speak. Abhi will find out what has happened and reach the Goenka house/the station, where Akshu will tell him everything that happened. He will obviously believe her and then prove her innocence.
