Neetu’s family life was definitely dysfunctional Rishi’s affairs is probably only one of the reasons. By all accounts Neetu has had a codependent equation with Ranbir which seems to have messed him up too. Didn’t she once say that Ranbir (as a teenager) was her sounding board when things were bad between her and Rishi? There’s also the reports of domestic abuse by a functional alcoholic husband. She does seem very happy these days. She’s been actively working again all the time since her husband’s passing. She seems to have a sense of independence and is enjoying herself. I mean obviously we are all speculating and don’t know for sure but she seems to have her own life now and might not even care what her son and his partner do. Problem is the damage might already be done as far as Ranbir and his take on relationships and fidelity.

I agree that it is very likely that she did say a lot of it it tbh. What made me question *how much of it* she said was more the details about the affairs/one night stands than her overall view on husbands cheating, because that seems consistent with her usual statements 😆.

And agree 100% on the second part too, looks like the damage is done with Ranbir, but lucky for them they've finally found a girl like Alia who seems OK with the way he is.
