Yes, I don't deny that at all, that's how he might instantly react. I am not saying he would be wrong, but I am saying that this particular character Akshara hiding something about Aarohi is not as simple as her loving her sister and betraying Abhi. Neither is the relationship with her sister called love nor her not telling Abhi called as betrayal. It's just the complexity of emotional abuse and that is why started this topic because of how closely I have seen abuse and how the victim feels desperate to do "anything" to save the relationship.

I completely agree with you! I have said this from the very beginning. Akshu's current state is the result of years of emotional abuse and blackmail by Aarohi. This type of trauma can take a lifetime to get over, even with therapy and mental health support. When Akshu listens to Aarohi's manipulation or falls into her traps, those are not conscious decisions she is making. Rather, it is her trauma making those decisions for her. She's not purposefully hiding things nor lying... it is all her trauma acting for her. But, ITV will never ever address this.

We are slowly seeing Abhi's love win over Aarohi's abuse. Akshu's character development has been extremely significant over the past 5 months, and she will continue on an upward trend. But, this type of change cannot happen overnight. So, we need to be patient with her!

With regards to this accident track, I don't think she is going to hide the truth this time. Because time and time again, we have seen that Akshu draws the line when it comes to Abhi. And, this time, it's not only about him. It's also about the woman that Akshu considers her mother after already losing 3 parents. She is not going to take either of these things lightly. Of course she won't reveal it within 1 episode, because that will take all the drama away. So, rather than jumping to conclusions, I think we should be patient and wait for at least a few episodes, no matter how unbearable this is getting.

My concern here is not what happens on a TV show really, it is what it is, My concern here is that when I read comments that Akshara should not hide from Abhi because Abhi loves her so much and she would be betraying him, I just want to make a point that when you are a victim of abuse, your actions don't make any sense. She loves him as much as he does, but from the time she has started to love him, every min she had to once again deal with the same abuser who has now got another weapon to abuse her.

In a husband and wife's relationship, many times this weapon is the child. Many times I would tell my friend you are so educated, get out of that relationship, stand on your own feet, every time it was a different excuse, sometimes love, sometimes kids, sometimes parents. Just that it takes a lot of strength from inside to free yourself from abuse, unfortunately.

This is true test of abhi’s love if he understand her suitation I’ll be proud of him bt he is angry on her I wouldn’t judge him either because I myself have reacted the same way because when u trust someone and ur trust is broken it would complete break u from within..

One of my staff has the same story . Her husband is a drug addict , steals all her earnings , and still physically abuses her everyday . He tried to strangle her and shove shampoo down her throat last week , she came crying to us..but in 2 hrs she was fine 😲 She said she just needed to share it n now she is ok . I tried to tell her many ways by which she can get rid of her husband but she doesn't want to. She is assured everyday by his father that he will improve..he will go to rehab again blah blah .

Here there is no pressure of parents or society . Her next door neighbor is cop . She is the one who is earning ..she she still doesn't wanna quit . This is years of conditioning and facing abuse..she lacks guts to take a step ..says tamasha hoga n all that .

agree with what you said...i am sure everyone here knows of someone they have been a victim ...but its a show and if the show FL getting help professioanly wont get the trps they need..hence they are mahan, all abusing bearing, hasne wali,,,ladies....

yes agreed its a show, and ofcourse its for entertainment. but when they loosely handle mental abuse and blame the victim calling her out on betrayal- I just felt like voicing it out.

indeed a needed post,,,this happens more then we see,,,awareness is much needed
