By the way, there's a thriller on Netflix called "Stay Close" which has both Richard Armitage and the actress who played his sister in North and South. He must be past 50 now but he looks WAY better than some 39 year olds. I haven't seen it all but seems interesting in a time-pass way.

Lol! He's still passably attractive in a scruffy way (as the character) but John Thornton was another beast altogether

And I totally totally agree about the characterization.
