Part 8

"I am so nervous Preet kaure. I dont think I can pull this off." Minni replied when Preet gave her a sexy dress to wear for tonight's grand party.

"Offo Minni, ab tu heroine banne wali hai. Kya party mein apne ye lower class wale patiala suits pehen kar jayegi? Dekhti nahi page 3 mein kaise celebratities taiyar hokar parties mein jate hain. Tujhe bhi aaj waisa hi dikhna hai...ekdum sexy siren." Preet explained to her naive sister.

"Par Preet...ye bhi koi dress hai? Dekhna kitna low cut hai...mujhe to dar lag raha hai ki kahi khisak gaya toh mera tamasha ban kar reh jayega." Minni imagined the worst case scenario.

"Allah mari! Heroine banne ke liye ye sab karna padta hai. Kabhi kabhi uncomfortable kapde bhi pehente padte hain...yahi glamour ki duniya hai." Naeem bi this time tried to persuade Minni.

"Lekin, mujhe sach mein isme bahut ajeeb lag raha hai. Aage itna low cut, peechhe se backless aur legs mein bhi long slit hai. Har jagah se to phata hua hai. Aisa lagta hai jaise dress nahi rugs latka ke ja rahi hoon." Minni checked herself out in the mirror and commented.

"Oh fashion ki dushman! The dress which you are calling a rug is from a famous designer label. Its a unique and single piece collection from them. Ladies would die for this piece of clothing." Preet informed.

"And, the dresses are sent by Neil Oberoi himself and also the makeup team to get both of you girls ready. We have selected this dress from the wardrobe brought by the team only." Naeem bi made another argument.

"Yes, but it has several other dresses too. Why you have to select the most skimpiest outfits of them all?" Minni made another desperate attempt to convince them.

"Minni, you dont bother about the fashion and dresses. You are lucky Preet is your sister and she knows all the fashion trends. You just shut your mouth and wear this dress." Naeem bi announced her decision.

"Ok, at least tone my makeup down. I look so caked up. Its too gaudy." Minni now tried her luck in another area.

"Offo Minni! Hum koi maiyyat mein nahi ja rahe. Filmy party hai, media hogi, itne bade bade celebs honge. Hume bhi unke beech mein unka hissa banna hai na ki koi chawl se aaye hue logo ki tarah lagna hai." Preet scolded her.

After that Minni just decided to shut her mouth and let these "expert" people get her ready for the party. She wondered if just getting ready for the party is so stressful then what would happen to her in the party itself. How will she managed to not goof up and made a laughing stock out of herself.

"Khatri wo log abhi tak aaye ya nahi?" Neil asked checking his watch again.

"Sir jee, abhi to party shuru hone mein bahut time hai. Aap abhi se unka intezar kyu kar rahe hain?" Khatri asked getting confused.

"Dont use your brain when you dont have one. Just answer my questions." Neil snapped back getting irritated and Khatri got the clue that he should not bother him more. He scurried away on the pretext of calling Naeem bi, to inquire whether they got seated in the car sent by him to their chawl or not.

"I have same question in my mind too. Why you are expecting them early and why are you seemed bothered about it?" Aadesh Oberoi walked in the room and asked Neil while adjusting his son's tie.

"Dad, you know about my big announcement of introducing new face. I have never failed in identifying a talent and my decisions have always proved right and profitable to all of us but this time is different. Our marketing team have created a huge hype around our movie. So there is more curiosity regarding the 'new girl'. So far I have hidden Minni from the media and tonight is her grand launching party. I want everything to be perfect." Neil answered.

"I know that son but still I dont get why you are so bothered about it. Its not new to you. You can handle this media very well." Aadesh shared his thoughts.

"Yes, but Minni is new to all this. She is already nervous about it. I want to make it comfortable for her." Neil replied.

Aadesh Oberoi raised an eyebrow at his son, his son was not the one who cared about someone this much. To be honest he was a bit of narcissist and selfish. So it was new to him too to see his son thinking about this new girl. "Hmm, probably Khatri was right when he told me about Neil's extra concern and more then necessary involvement in this new movie in pre production phase." Aadesh wondered and left his son with his thoughts. Although Aadesh was intrigued by this change in Neil but he thought it was too early to conclude anything from this. It may turn out just a short term obsession of his son or may be he is too involved because its his dream project.

Khatri informed Neil that Minni and Preet are stuck in traffic and guests and media already started coming. Neil panicked at it, "Dont stand here then, do something. Keep taking their location. Mind you, Minni will not enter from the front gate, directly into the party. She will be brought from the back door, directly to me and first I will meet her, make sure everything is fine then I will walk outside with her and make her introduction." Instructed to Khatri and other team members.

Finally after half n hour Minni arrived with Preet and Naeem bi. Preet walked inside with Naeem bi tailing behind her. Both of them forgot about Minni who was almost got panick attack seeing finally she has to get inside the bunglow amidst all the shutterbugs clicking at her. Preet and Naeem bi looked all the pomp and show with wide eyes. They even gave some poses to media persons even when no one was asking. Khatri and Neil's team arrived on right time and before anyone could have noticed Minni they took her to the back door entry.

"Sir ji, Minni ji aa gayi hain." Khatri announced and Neil turned back to look at his precious heroine.

Minni was nervous to come in front of Neil all dolled up like this. She had never wore such revealing outfit and heavy makeup. Though she wasnt comfortable in that but still she wore it thinking about Neil and how important this film, this party is for him. On her way she was imagining this scene when she will come in front of Neil and he will praise her looks while having that captivating mysteriously sexy smile on his lips and his black eyes would arrest her brown ones for more than few seconds in which they would dangerously threaten to look in to her soul. Then his hand would come up and cup her face from side admiring her beauty and leaving goosebumps all over her body.

"What is this? What happen to you? Who got you ready into this piece of shit? And your makeup and hair do...oh God! you are looking like some wanna be page 3 model with no sense of class." Neil stated the first thing came to his mind after looking Minni and this broke Minni's bubble. She came out of trance to this harsh reality. His reaction immediately brought tears in her eyes further ruining her looks.

Preeth ,Nayeem b are irritating now . Just like Cinderella sisters 😈 Neil dad is sweet dad. think he will be first one who will sense Neil's love and will know Mini is only person who can get changes in Neil and in future he will suppoort Mini.
