Yes i watched the whole podcast, so the conclusion in simple words :

If Disney Star let go IPL, they will invest the entire money in fictional content say Hotstar Specials and TV. We will see more and more original content and production quality will be increased to a higher extent. I think Disney's strategy is outstanding. They are under confident that IPL will get them a higher number of subs and moreover those subs will stick to their platform so thats why to let them stick they will sacrifice IPL and will keep their entire focus on fictions.

Cant we already see Anupama, Shivangi-Mohsin, Gul's show on Hotstar ? Yes they had already started that. The plan B is already in action.
