Probable best batter of the match: Laura Wolvaardt

Laura Wolvaardt, who had finished as South Africa’s leading run-scorer in the 2017 Women’s World Cup, has taken her consistency to the next level in the ongoing tournament.

The promising batter is the second-highest run-getter in this World Cup having amassed 353 runs from six matches.

The 22-year-old would be expected to put her best foot forward against India in her team’s final league encounter, and the Indian bowlers must come out with something special to stop her.

its a very close competition between wi, ind, eng,and nz only 2 can proceed to semis.

Do you think NewZealand still has a chance? For that to happen India and England have to lose their matches pretty badly.

Cheers..

Probable best bowler of the match: Marizanne Kapp

Marizanne Kapp has had a wonderful tournament so far as she has been consistent with the ball in hand. Kapp has so far registered 10 scalps to her name and is currently the fourth-leading wicket-taker. She had taken a match-winning fifer against the defending champions England and finished with figures of 5/45. The senior pacer will be hoping to run through the Indian team’s famed batting lineup.

Qualification Scenarios for Women's World Cup

AUS and SA already qualified for semis

PAK and BAN are out of contention.

Left with WI, IND, ENG and NZ only 2 can qualify.

WI has 7 pts , while other 3 has 6 pts.

IND

1. they have to win tomorrow vs SA to qualify

(IND will qualify with 8 pts)

2. even if their match gets washed out tmr they can still qualify as they have a better NRR than WI regardless who wins the other match

(IND will qualify with 7 pts, NZ has 6 pts and WI has 7 pts but lesser NRR)

3. if IND loses tmr they still stand a chance to qualify but they need to make sure ENG loses vs BD tmr within a certain margin as ENG has a better NRR currently

(WI with 7 pts and IND with 6pts will qualify)

ENG

1. they just win vs BD tmr and they will confirm their qualification

(ENG will qualify with 8 pts)

2. even if their match gets washed out tmr they can still qualify as they have a better NRR than WI regardless who wins the other match

(ENG will qualify with 7 pts, NZ has 6 pts and WI has 7 pts but lesser NRR)

3. if ENG loses tmr they still stand a chance to qualify but they need to make sure IND loses vs SA tmr margin doesn't matter as they have better NRR than IND

(WI with 7 pts and ENG with 6pts will qualify)

WI

1.they just need either IND or ENG(or both) to lose their match tmr else they have no chance

(WI qualifies with 7 pts while other team with 6 or 8 pts)

2. if rain washes out both matches tmr, then WI wont make it due to poor NRR, as they will be tied with IND and ENG with 7 pts in that case

NZ

1. They will need not just IND and ENG to lose their matches but also to lose them in a very high margin due to low NRR, basically they will need a miracle to qualify.
